Aldrin will be partnered with dancer Ashley Costa (formerly DelGrosso), who returns for her fourth season.

Pamela Anderson, Actress and Model
Anderson joins professional dancer Damian Whitewood, who makes his "Dancing with the Stars" debut this season.

Erin Andrews, ESPN Host
Andrews teams up with Maksim Chmerkovskiy, who returns for his eighth season

Shannen Doherty, Actress
Doherty will dance with two-time "Dancing with the Stars" champ Mark Ballas, who returns for his sixth season

Kate Gosselin, TLC Star
Gosselin teams up with Tony Dovolani, who returns for his ninth season.

Evan Lysacek, Olympic Figure Skating Champion
Lysacek will dance with Anna Trebunskaya, who returns for her fifth season

Niecy Nash, Comedienne and Host
Nash joins Louis Van Amstel, who returns for his sixth season on "Dancing With the Stars."

Chad Ochocinco, NFL Star
Ochocinco will hit the dance floor with two-time champion Cheryl Burke, who returns for her ninth season.

Jake Pavelka, "The Bachelor" Star
Pavelka joins Chelsie Hightower, in her third season.

Nicole Scherzinger, Pop Star
Scherzinger teams with Season 7 champ Derek Hough, who returns for his sixth season

Me too. I'm also bummed about Dmitry. I really only like the SYTYCD alumni and crossovers. I adore Chelsie but think she got an icky partner.

I've never heard of Niecy Nash but I'm familiar with the rest.

Is it weird that they have an odd number of contestants? I'm glad there is less though (and no Karina) 16 like season 9 was too many.

I feel like if I see them plastered all over the tv, internet and mags then they are stars. That's just me though. Didn't know there was an actual definition of what a star is.

Ha ha I agree with that! D-list celebrities and hanger-ons - and some has-beens in there too! The only ones I'm looking forward to are Buzz Aldrin, Ochocinco and Evan Lysacek (sp).

Niecy Nash is from the show "Clean House." I am not too sure what to think of the line up. I think that Buzz will be interesting to watch, and I can only imagine the drama that Shannon will bring to the competition. But half the so called stars are people I haven't heard of . Looks like I'll be watching just to watch the professionals.

I noticed Karina wasn't part of it this time around. Maybe she's bummed about not getting John Stamos in. I heard she was interested in having him as a partner but he turned it down.
