I received my summer issue of D23 today. I was hoping for Buzz but received Woody. This issue did not include a "surpirse" like the 2009 issues - no reproductions from the disney archives.

Thanks for letting us know, I have been wondering when we'd get Summer issue...Nothing here yet.

I got Buzz on the cover of my summer issue but was disappointed with the lack of "extras" like they have given with the previous issues.

I think the "surprise" this issue is wondering which of the Toy Story covers you will get.

I renewed my membership on April 15th and they billed my credit card on May 14th. On May 15th I got my membership card in the mail. I haven't got anything else yet, but the card is always supposed to come first...in 10 business days after the start of the month after you renew. So, I guess they are on time. Now we'll see how long it takes to get my Summer issue of D23 magazine, my 2010 member gift and my 1 year charter member pin.

I'm looking forward to getting my magazine.

Well, I got my 1 year Charter Member pin yesterday. FedEx delivered it on May 17th, two days after I got my new membership card. The pin is very nice. It's quite big. I really like it.

So, it seems like things are getting delivered. Just need the calendar and the summer issue of the magazine.

So far, so good.

I got my Tink pin yesterday too, although I scratched my head a bit over why they felt the need to FedEx it. Can't wait to get the next issue.

Soooo I renewed my charter membership way back awhile ago. It took until just yesterday to finally get the summer issue. Then today I received the calendar. What else should I be waiting for? Anything? do I get a new membership card or what?

I'm a little confused.

Since last Friday I have recieved the Summer Issue (Buzz), the Calendar, AND the Tink Pin that I didnt think I was going to get because I renewed on 5/1 instead of before 4/30.

I am VERY happy.

Yeah...I wound up getting my Calendar and Summer Issue of D23 with in a couple of days of my 1 year pin and membership card. So, even though they said it could take 3-4 weeks after the first of the month AFTER you renew, I had everything within 2 weeks.

I got the Buzz cover. My son appreciated that.

I like the calendar...it seems nice and I am leaving most of it as a surprise, reading only the current month.

You should have gotten a new membership card. For most people it sounds like they get the membership card first. That is the way they say they ship it. Whatever month you renew, you have to wait until the next month to start getting stuff. The membership card should come within the first 10 days of the month after you renew and the rest of the stuff should come within 3-4 weeks after the membership card. Of course, all of my stuff arrived within 1 week of each other, about two weeks after the start of the month after I renewed.

I would check on your membership card.

By the way, it looks like we will both be in WDW at the same time!

D23 announced today that the Fall edition of the Twenty-three Magazine will feature the main characters of Disney's new movie, "Tangled" on the cover.

The magazine is also supposed to feature an article on the Imagineers.

So, it should be a good issue. Hopefully there will be a little surprise included for members again.

Thanks for the update. I believe the fall issue of D23 comes out on August 2. I hope mine will be in mail shortly after.

Does anyone know when you will able to purchase tickets for the Magic & Merriment event at Walt Disney World? I'm planning on attending this year (if I can get tickets before they sell out).

I received the fall issue of the D23 magazine in the mail today. The added bonus that was included with the magazine is a custom-made patch representing one of nine park symbols for Epcot. The patch that I received was the one for "World of Motion".

I also received my fall issue yesterday. I received the patch for "Journey into Imagination". I would like to have the one for Horizons.

Was wondering if anyone had checked out the D23 2011 Expo ticket pricing yet? The multi day tickets are very inexpensive. What are your thoughts on the VIP packages. Tickets go on sale tomorrow
