Official As the World Turns Spoilers Welcome! **Ending forever September 17** :(

Thank you so much for posting that link. I never would have seen those clips. I haven't watched the last episode yet, because if I do then the show will be over for me. I will probably watch it on Monday when the kids aren't home.

You are welcome.

And I don't blame you for watching it alone. Glad I did......

I tuned in yesterday to watch the finale. Maybe it was because I had not been watching faithfully for awhile but it seemed off to me. Not like the Guiding Light finale where I cried through the whole show twice (watched it online while in Disney the day it aired and then watched it again on my DVR a week later when we got home).

I am sad to see ATWT come to end but I think I expected more since they had known it was cancelled for so long.

Um- I just watched Fridays show and can I just say ANTICLIMACTIC! I hope I spelled that correctly.

I was totally underwhelmed.

I agree it was boring but had some touching moments...loved when Lucinda and John kissed in the elevator and when Holden looked at lily and they were talking about when they first met and he ended by tilting his head and saying "Yes Ma'am"(sp) I remember that scene in the barn soooooooooo well and thought wow what a hunk! It brought a tear to my eye....lol...

I think i will miss Henry the most....he was so much fun to watch....any idea where he may be heading? I'll start watching just because of him!

What are some of the older ones going to do....where will they go if anywhere...like Barbara...and Paul and Emily and all the younger ones. I know that Carly is on her way to our other show but what about the rest :confused3

I think Barbara could work on about any soap- it would be harder for Bob and Kim.

Did anyone else notice Eileen Fulton's fingers? She has really bad arthritis- OUCH!

I think Barbara is doing a one woman show (I guess her days with the clown was a good warm up to that!), and Jack does stage shows as well. Paul is rumored to be heading back to his old soap-not sure which one that is.

I will miss Henry the most too! I love him.

I remember that day in the barn with Holden and Lily, too. I was a couple of years younger than they were, and I was in love! My favorite summer of all time on any soap was the dude ranch storyline-with Dusty, Meg, Lily, and Holden.

I saved the last 5 episodes to watch one right after another - which is what I did before I got on the DIS tonight..

All I can say is...................what a let down.. Boring as all get out..

I would have preferred they went with how the Guiding Light ended - the last episode showed where all of the "characters" were in their lives and relationships a year later..

And they replaced it with a crummy game show? Ugh!!

B&B isn't even worth watching - they should have cancelled that instead..

All that's left now is the Y&R - wonder how long that will last?

I have not been here in forever - guess that's why i didnt get emails about new replies. I kept meaning to get here to discuss the end

Loved the week Reed died but the last week was kind of a let down. It didn't go out with a bang like Guiding Light did.

I now have no soaps to watch - first time in 30 years!

gonna go read back a few pages to see what i missed.

Good "knowing" you all!

:grouphug: it was fun while it lasted...nice knowing all of you also....at least we still have the young and the restless thread left.
