Yeah - I was doing some comparisons and it seemed like the AP rate was not available for just the weekends in some cases - had to be 3 or 4 nights. Keep checking back as this can change any time.Blah, the weekend I'm doing my big HHN weekend, it seems like there's no AP rate on the saturday as if I look thurs-sat there's a major drop off from Fri-Sun (and the fri-sun says no rate available)
Thanks for the heads up. Guess I will have to keep checking. Rates for several dates I looked at in Dec are spotty, some nights yes some nights no AP rate. Some nights ES only has suites right now at AP rate. Plus I'm not sure what dates I may want to go yet. I know there is an OI meetup the first 2 weekends and they usually grab a block of rooms.AP rates are out up to December 20
Yep, I orginally looked at Fri-Sun and Cabana Bay was like 280 a night....I switched to thurs-sat and i got the discount at 170 a nightYou might need to play with the dates - for example, there might be AP rates if you look at Mon-Thurs but not for just Mon night. Although that is more common for weekends I think.
I'm the last week of Oct & there is decent availability.
So glad I saw this! Just snagged 2 garden queen rooms at HRH 9/29-10/4 for $398/nt. Saves us $600 overall for our trip over the Stay more rate.As others have mentioned, keep checking back. We are coming October 6-10. Currently using the 20% off rate for Aventura, no AP rate for the whole stay yet.
I have also been stalking the premier resorts for October 7-8 to get express for Monday and Tuesday. Was finally able to nab RP for $365 a night. Not bad for 2 days of unlimited express for 3 people!
No. I’m pretty sure occupancy is just fine. I think they just overinflated the rack rate #. We will be there in 2 1/2 weeks, I would be thrilled if it were slow but I’m not expecting that.I see 45% off APH rates at Endless Summer this June, even on weekends. Is hotel occupancy that bad?
Theme parks will be busy but it’s unusual to see 45% off on a Saturday night.No. I’m pretty sure occupancy is just fine. I think they just overinflated the rack rate #. We will be there in 2 1/2 weeks, I would be thrilled if it were slow but I’m not expecting that.
We will be staying at Aventura at the same time. I guess we will know then, at least for those two hotels.Theme parks will be busy but it’s unusual to see 45% off on a Saturday night.
There are reports of soft hotel bookings at WDW, with some rooms shut down as a result.
We stayed at Cabana Bay about 3 weeks ago and it certainly was not crowded then. But that’s mid May before school got out.
We just booked a stay at Dockside in 2 weeks because APH rates were 45% off, even on weekends.
Just wondering if what’s happening at WDW hotels is happening at Universal hotels.
And just switched to RP for $345 a night AP rate same dates. Haven’t seen it before for a regular room, only suites, so I’m not sure if people are canceling or they’re adding more AP rooms for booking. So glad I saw this!
