Eyeing one of the 1-BR hospitality suites vs two regular rooms at RPR for May 2024. There is a posted APH rate for a suite now for my dates - once posted do these APH rates tend to stay constant? Or do they fluctuate?

The rate can change although I have only seen it happen in September and that was last year. They do disappear when the number of rooms allocated for the discount are booked, then they revert to stay more save more if eligible or seasonal rate if not. If you see a rate you can live with book it.

Typically the rate stays mostly constant but the availability fluctuates (wildly). There may be an APH rate change on a given room type/night combo maybe once, or more often never. IME. But the availability will change days, change room types (including view, club, etc), change day combinations - pretty much daily.

Thank you soooo much!! I’ve been trying to check periodically for our mid-June trip but life has been super busy, and I didn’t think to check for the past couple of weeks until I got a notification of your post. You saved me almost $150 per night, and I was able to upgrade from a standard room at RPR to a garden view at HRH, which is the only premier we haven’t stayed at and have been hoping to!! I missed my chance to book it using the AP rate last time we were there because I hesitated. No hesitation tonight! Appreciate it!!

Annual Pass rates now appear to be available for stays as late as August 25.

I see the first post isn't being updated anymore. Can anyone point me to updated info on how to book an AP rate? All of my old links are broken because it has been so dang long since I went to Universal and I don't know how far back in this thread to go to get any updated processes and procedures. Thank you!

Despite the odd looking link, that is a direct Loews/Universal site so it is a direct booking & thus fully refundable / changeable / cancelable until 5 days before check in.

Don't be afraid to play with different date combos to see different room options.

I'm glad Universal emailed me about HHN yesterday. It had been awhile since I looked for an AP room for 8/29 to 8/31. Once I saw that tickets were on sale, I knew rooms would go quick. Yesterday I was able to grab a water view at RPR for $345 a night, today the cheapest room is a suite for $482. We're coming in two days early before our Disney cruise and not planning on doing HHN because it will be crazy on opening night. Too bad because the tickets to get in aren't bad but the express pass is $159.

Just an update for anyone stalking late 2024 dates, I was able to get $278.30 at Portofino for late September (renovation is going to be troublesome, but I think that's a pretty stellar number). Also, I quickly checked early December, and it looked like some decent AP rates were available then, as well. It also appears that the rates can fluctuate quite a bit day to day, but I guess that's probably normal.

Edited to add: I just checked on the December rates again, and there were no AP discounts to be found. I'm not sure what I saw that made me think they were out - maybe I imagined it lol (entirely possible) or maybe they changed. In any case, apologies - didn't mean to mislead anyone.

I see AP rates for Portofino, RPR, Cabana Bay, Sapphire, and Endless Summer. A lot of these are regular rooms, not suites. No Aventura or Hard Rock.

September 10 to September 16? That includes Friday and Saturday nights. It can be tough to get weekend APH rates.

The hotels generally fill up on Saturday night, not much need for Universal to offer APH rates for Saturdays, especially the Hard Rock.

I'd grab one of the other hotels now and hope for something better later.
