Official Animal Kingdom Villas Photo Thread

hello all! We are waiting to hear from a friend regarding renting points for a studio DVC. We already have our flights booked for April11th-20th. We are family of 4. 2 boys age 11,13. Any insight as to which Studio is better? Jambo or Kidani? We have stayed 2x at Jambo house. Once with bunk beds, and once with 2 queens. Helpful hints, pictures welcome!

I am going to start posting pictures. I have about a million of them So I will post a few at a time. We stayed at Kidani in a 1 BR Villa - it was beautiful and we loved loved loved it!

I will start with some plain old room pictures

We originally weren't staying in a villa, but then we added a fifth member to our party, so we switched to a Villa. But by the time we did this, there were no Savannah view villas available - we even asked again at check-in and they were all booked. So our room was standard view, but it was still pretty, and there were plenty of places to sit and peacefully watch the animals. We also had a room that was really close to the lobby and stuff, which was great.

I will keep posting more pictures, I have pictures of the resort itself, the savannah, nighttime pictures, the pool/hot tubs, it goes on and on haha

Oooh I love the latest pictures! I can almost hear soft drumming in the background! I love the music at AKL. We are thinking of renting points from a friend for our April 2012 trip and AKL is on our list!

Thanks! I loved that music too! Although I didn't think it would work so well here at home lol I am so glad that we stayed there though, it is a wonderful resort.

more pics?? Anyone?? We are booked in a standard studio in Jambo house for April 11th-20th interested in finding a pic of the pull out sofa opened up. Is it as tight as everyone says?

I will be posting more pics, but they are from Kidani. Unfortunately I don't think I have any pictures of the sofa bed opened up. If by tight you mean space in the room - it did get a little crowded with having the sofa bed and the chair bed pulled out. However, both were super easy to put away, so we just opened them up before bed at night, and put them back away in the morning.

I do, but will have to find the time to load them up....I haven't stayed in the Jambo villas, but the Kidani one was very nice. I believe that square footage is a little bit larger than Jambo house. If you go on the DVC member website you can see them in 360 degree angles, which might be better to get the feel of the studio.
