I was reading some posts on the TWOP forum and the AI newsgroup and outside of our little DIS bubble DC is not nearly as almost (not forgetting you, dturner!) univerally loved. Hmmmm.

Are you saying he is not as liked as he is here....If so I agree aside from last week he hasnt been all that great....JMHO

Haha! Nice! We considered having "Love of a Lifetime" being the first dance at our wedding reception. It's so cheesy and we love it. I always sing it in the car. But it's a really long song. So we ended up chosing a different, more "classic" kind of song for the first dance. But the last dance of the night was "Love of a Lifetime" and it was perfect!

He could still out out a great album if he wins....Carrie did as did Kellie and Jordin. I also think he will be more mainstream than Taylor or Rubeun....so he would do fine if he won.

I don't know. Those contracts are tricky things. I'm sure he'll be good at whatever he does though.

I LOVE that song! Been a while since I have listened to it though. Off to do that!!

Hair metal was at it's peak when I was in college and I was going to concerts as often as Mandy does. I love ALL that stuff. Def Leppard remains my favorite band (seeing THEM in just 25 days! )

This is Idol related somewhat but Kelly Clarkson is doing two performances when the Pope is NY.

And I'm so hoping her and Reba tour in Nashville when they go back out on the road.

I still maintain this season is not as good as other season. I like to know these people more. I dont too much about this years group. AI has done a poor job with that. Bonding with them is a big part of getting the fans. I know its suppose to be about the singing but I want to get to know them too....

Haha. Well, I just can't handle him most of the time. His mannerisms kind of bug me. Very Jim Morrison/Michael Hutchence. I don't know. And I also don't really find him attractive....haha. He's just not my "type." I've recently discovered that I prefer and oval face to a round face. Apparently it's a weird psychological/subconcious thing to prefer a specific face shape.
