I had something similar to that happen to me a few years ago. Me and another guy started the same job on the same day in the same office. Well he was started a dollar more an hour than I was because he was a friend of the super's family. I was pissed when i found out and confronted my boss about it, well he had no real good explanation and I had been out working him to that point. So I was matched and given a increase over him. 12 years later he no longer works there and I am still around. Life sucks sometimes it really does but you have to roll with or attack it. My dad always taught me to tackle problems head on. He was a very upfront and in your face kind of guy and thats what I am. It has gotten me into problems but it has also got me out of some. So not sure of my point but I believe I would sure ask my boss what is going on....I also believe you can find another 20 hour a week job elsewhere if you had too.

the other girl and myself who started before this co-worker, confronted our boss about why the one girl was getting more hours and our boss said "well...she DOES have a child...".....yeah...and we both have mortgages to pay and bills to pay and i have a wedding to pay for. so i think we're all in the same boat here, we should all be given around the same amount of hours, you know??

yeah that's probably what i'm going to do. get another part-time job.

I think you posted that on an Idol thread a long time ago. I didn't think about it until you said your real name again and my brain's filing system remembered. Sometimes, I forget where I park, but that I remembered! (probably because of the Jim Kelly/Buffalo Bills rivalry and the great quarterbacks of that era)

uh-oh, the dreaded "c" word. lol

meh, i look like crap, it's ok, really, we can all admit it right now lol.

i WISH i were dark irish. sometimes it's so annoying to be the light skinned irish. plus i'm part Russian, so that doesn't help either. i am also German and Italian. the ONLY thing that you can tell that's Italian on me is my nose, i've got a HUGE nose. but other than that i look just plain Irish.

It's hard to look anything but cute though when you have a big butterfly painted on your face. But I know you, like me, are not a "cute" type person.

Sorry about your job. My old job is doing that to a lot of people. The part-timers went from 30 hours to 24 and soon will be 20 a week. I've never been so happy to be freelance.

Yeah...Dolphins fav team...Dan Marino favorite player....#1....Billyp was taken so that was the next obvious choice.

I have a Marino Shrine on my side of our bedroom...wife hates it so therefore I love it more....

lol i get "cute" ALL the time. i never understood it. it's frustrating at times, but i guess i'll never be that "pretty" one or the "hott" one or whatever, so i guess i'll accept that one day lol. and it's not a butterfly, it's a peacock! lol. i didn't want my WHOLE face painted, either. in the picture it was just around the eyes, and i couldn't see what she was doing until it was done, and i wasn't too happy about it. and i also took a nap while having that on, figure that one out! lol.

it made me SO mad. then they said "well, we're not as busy as we were"....but then they have ALL of us working for 3 hours on Saturdays....which makes no sense. if we're not "that" busy.....then why are you ADDING people to Saturdays??

I'm hitting the hay. It's been a long day. We lost power in the middle of the night and our morning was pretty chaotic as a result. Where were you DDan/BillyP when I needed you?

yeah. We're going down on the 14th though. We haven't decided on our resort yet. It'll probably be ASMu or POFQ. FQ is my mom's favorite. I'd like to stay at CSR though. However, I do believe it'll be ASMu as this is our Xmas gift and my parents are footing the bill for us! ( I'm an only child and it does have it's benefits! )

We usually go POP warner week which is the 2nd week in Dec but this year we are going the week after...for the record we have never had a problem with POP kids. The 1st week is parade taping and leftovers from thanksgiving so I heard it was busy too. All the times we went during POP the longest wait posted was 15 minutes on everything but usually you walked on by the time you walk the Queue.

If I could redo my Disname, I'd be way more creative. Maybe I could use my Wii name............Starr. My kids think I'm nuts.

Maybe we can all get together and have lunch or something. It will be My wife, 2 boys and I. I am not sure which is my favorite although I do love the wilderness lodge even though we havent stayed there. My wife loves the Grand Floridian and wants to stay there. I told her you married the wrong guy....My pockets dont go that deep....

GF is pretty but it's not our style. My husband still has his original set of Lincoln Logs from the early 70's. So we stayed at WL during our honeymoon and fell in love with it. I would like to stay at AKL at some point.

I've stayed at the GF and I didn't like it, I felt very out of place. Poly is my home, we're trying Contemporary this year though so I'll get back to you on that.

I think I would like to stay at the tower at Contemporary one time. Plus I will be close to Chef Mickey's which I love. I turn it to a huge kid at Disney. Watch out when I see Eeyoree. I go crazy.
