And, I'm sorry to Robin and all his other fans but I just don't think that Michael Johns is that talented. He's also not all that attractive to me. I realize that's a subjective call but I'm just putting it out there. If it were up to me, I'd send him home right after getting rid of Ramiele.

You guys don't have to apologize for your opinions... Lord KNOWS I state mine!! Heck, I've spent most of the years on these thread being the fan of the OUT person!! You should have seen me during the Fantasia and Ruben years!!

My thing is I really LIKE who I like and support them. I think everyone should support whomever they like. I don't expect anyone to agree with me, if they do, fine, but everyone's entitled to their own opinion. Nothing anyone can say about anything I didn't give birth to can hurt me!!

I know, I DID give birth to a Michael John but not THAT one!!

My mistake then. I don't recall you ripping on him week after week, critizing every move he makes, etc -- you know the way people actively dislike Kristy, Ramiele, etc.

I considered you among the "ones that don't love him".

I just try and say nothing usually if I don't have something nice to say. I know that everyone has different tastes in music, musicians, bands so I don't take it personally if I don't concur with the crowd.

I've always been a rebel anyway, always rooting for the one that no one seems to like, usually the underdog.

It would be interesting to know just how typical those of us on this thread are compared to the rest of the people who watch this show. There is no one I have read who actively DOESN'T like DC. A couple don't love him, but almost all of us at least acknowledge that he is unbelievably talented. In previous years have you ever seen anything like this? It seems nearly unanimous.

I find myself wondering just WHERE they hang out during the week. I live so close it just kills me!

I didn't like him at first, thought he was a guy with a "bad combover and NO charisma..." Lord, I lived to regret THAT statement.

On the American Idol board it seemed to be that way about David A. I was tired of every single thread being about HIM! Finally when it got down to the top 12 each contestant has it's own fave.

What I've noticed about the different boards is though all of them are loyal some of them are downright FANATIC. The Archies or Arch Angels are the most loyal, I believe. They were together BEFORE the boards so they have a purpose. The "Dread Heads" are cool, The "Word Nerds" are open and literate and the "Aussie Posse" are mature... sort of reflective of their idols!!

Seriously, just kidding. It's ok not to like DC. I don't get it , but it's ok. As for the NASCAR thing, my husband LOVES it, never misses a race, etc. etc., and I find it to be the most boring thing ever. It's good if I need something to put me to sleep The hubby tortures me every Sunday.

I love David Cook. But I can understand why some people might not like him. I think I'm probably in the minority for hating (yes HATING) Daughtry's music.

I was definitely in the minority during the Daughtry era. He still gives me the heebies and the jeebies. But I DEFINITELY understand his appeal. There is a fan for everyone!

ME TOO!!! That is the same exact reason I can't get past him and like his singing. He just always has that smirk on his face, like he knows he's the bomb or something....ugh. Plus all the gushing about how original he is? Originally covering other covers, sure. But he's not all that. That said, I do prefer him over many of the others. But he skeeves me out with the looks he gives.

DH and I were big Daughtry fans. (and hated Katherine mcphee even MORE after she stole his spot in the top 3!) I enjoyed his performaces, the bald look does not do much for me either... (I suppose I had better start liking it... DH's forhead grows every year!!)

HOWEVER... Phil Stacy from last season was SCARY!! I had a really time watching him when he was not wearing a hat.

LOL, I haven't been over to the Archie board in awhile (too TEEN BEAT for me) but WOW, what a change!!

That's what happens when you PEAK too early, you have no where to go but DOWN.

Ramiele: Does she think she is a baby or something?

Jason: What are those things in his hair? What things? Those hanging dirty things. What are they? There's nothing in his hair, that IS his hair. Nnnnnoooooo, those ropy things. Yes, you let your hair get dirty and twist it up, it's called dreds. Dreds. Ok, but what are those things in his hair?

I still don't think she believes me.

Paula: She has shushy gloves!
I have no idea what that means, but every time Paula was on, DD yelled "Shushy Gloves!"

Chikeze: Ooooooh! Chikeze! He is cheesy!

Brooke: She goofed! Goofy goofing goof!

MJ: There was a lot of clapping involved during his singing.

Carly: She has scary eyes.
I have to agree.

Also during his song, DD sang her own song. It was vaguely to the tune of "Groovy Kind of Love" but the only word was "Poopie."

Well after David Cook's performance last night i must say there is good reason...LOVED IT!!! phenomenal! Michael Johns made me happy too..it was about time he shined!
