Yes during the intro he said something like Chris Cornell's version of Michael Jackson's Billie Jean. I had never heard of Chris Cornell's version before this board today, so it stood out.

I never had either! I had also never heard of Live doing 'Walk the Line' (the version that Chris Daughtry did a few years back). Makes me curious to hear his version.

I was just curious how anyone thought those kids are cute. My DD8 does not like them, but many girls go nuts for them. Those Cirque dancers were amazing. Though DH now wants someone on AI to try out a Meatloaf song.

I thought he was ok in the beginning but I was blinded by Luke the first couple weeks. Then I read in DC's bio that he likes Our Lady Peace (whom I like a LOT) so I started paying more attention. And I've been just ever since.

youtube. I've been going back every few days and watching all the weeks leading up to the top 12. Every season they ask a few of the contestants if they are the next American Idol. They asked DC this and I thought his answer was great. I still think he might be better off not winning but he absolutely deserves to. He just sounds so REAL compared to the rest of them.

i liked David Cook right from the start. as soon as i saw him in the auditions i went "yep....i like him!" (and a bit OT, but that's how it happened with Ace, too!! ) and every week i just kept getting impressed over and over again....even when i thought "well.....i probably won't like anyone this week"
