Well, Jason Castro messed up at the end of that one song and they didn't care. They didn't care when David A. messed up. Or when Michael Johns messed the lyrics up a bit.

Personally, I think they should have yelled at David not just for missing the lyrics but for being so shaken by it for the rest of the song.

Not all of them. Some can mess up lyrics multiple times and get rewarded like crazy.
