I think you are think of the Nelly and tim Mcgraw song arent you....I am confused....Soulja Boy has no Billy Ray in it....unless they did a remix or something

lol no i was talking about the Dolly Parton song, i though that's what you were talking about, not the Soulja Boy song!! :lmao:

ok i'm on the same page here. sorry, i've been pretty sick for the last few days, my brain is just starting to work again lol.

yeah i heard Soulja Boy the one time i was at a club with some friends like a year ago and i saw everyone start doing some stupid dance and there's me standing there going :confused3

I used to purposely get out in dodgeball so i could sit on the side and talk with my friends. Haha. I am not athletic. I choose to write a paper instead of doing the weighlifting section of p.e. class in high school. It was great. I sat and talked to my friends while they lifted weights. And then at the end of the quarter, I wrote a 3 page paper about swimming or something. It was so easy...haha.

:sad2:

I hated square dance week in PE...we had it too.....Here I am captain of the football, baseball and Basketball teams and I have to square dance....good thing I was somewhat popular

I am so scarred by the square dancing *I* had to do in high school that I still remember the song I had to dance to!

It was 'Lookin' for Love" by (off to google) Johnny Lee.

it might have been my kids PE class....:rotfl2:

honestly i don't remember much of gym class, to tell you the truth. i wonder if i just blocked it out of my memory. i remember once we were playing baseball and my friend hit a homerun and i gave him a hug to congradulate him and i got detention for it. and then another time the gym teacher had all of the girls running laps while the guys sat on the bleachers and did a whole lot of nothing.

and i never had to take swim, i got out of that every year with a doctor's note!!

Looking for love in all the wrong places
looking for love in too many faces
Searching your eyes, looking for traces
Of what.. I'm dreaming of...
Hopin' to find a friend and a lover
God bless the day I discover
Another heart, lookin' for love

wasnt that Waylon

thankfully we didn't have a pool at our school (although the seniors always tried to sell the 7th graders "pool passes" on their first day of school...haha.)

:lmao: i still don't know the dance either. and it was on CNN one day....honestly...that made CNN news!?!?

Its really a tuff dance to watch them kids do it....but I mean seriusly is this what we are headed towards....but you know what I would have much rather done that than square dancing

7th grade was in the same school as seniors????

You made me laugh with the baseball hug....

well i was like "Yes you got it!" because he was on my team and we were losing so he got it and ran up and did the "Guy-hug" with a bunch of guys so i was like "i'll hug him too" so i did and i was the one that got introuble....

too funny....teacher must have had it out for you, or it was too much girl/guy contact....

for the first two years i went to the old high school in my city and then they built a new one so i went to that for my last two years. the old building was just that...OLD! we were even a question on jeopardy once, one of the oldest high school buildings in the US or something along those lines. anyway, the pool was AWFUL! it was always just so disgusting i never wanted to go in it. at the new one it was actually a lot nicer. it was an olympic sized swim pool, but by that time my whole "self-confidence" thing was kicking in and there was no way i was wearing a bathing suit infront of a few hundred classmates.

i would rather we don't do any dancing at all in gym and stick to sports lol.

we had a jr/sr high school building. less than 400 students in grades 9-12. i went to a small catholic school. Actually, since I graduated...they not have grades 5-12 in one building. Maybe more. Not sure.

yeah that was too much contact, but the kids making out afterwards was fine....:sad2:

i had my problems with that teacher before. luckily i didn't have him all 4 years.

Maybe Lee did a remake of a Waylon song? I do remember Lee's version was popular when I was in middle school and I remember I knew the song when I heard it. I'm sure it was Lee's version I heard in gym class.

you know what i would have LOVED!? if my high school would have had a hockey team. even if i wouldn't have been able to play on it(which, i would have complained about THAT if they tried lol) i would have still gone to the games. but they ran out of money while BUILDING the new high school, so they barely had any money to spend on the sports teams.
