i didn't say it was "that bad" i just said that i don't enjoy that genre of music.

i tried to watch the whole episode, but to be honest i fast forwarded thru most of it. i watched all of Brooke's performance, all of David Cook's performance, and all of Michael John's performance.....and even they didn't WOW me(well, Brooke never "wows" me lol).

i have nothing against Dolly as a person tho. she always seems very sweet and bubbly, she seems like she could always make you feel better if you were in a bad mood.

Well looky looky who is here....Mrs anti-Country

And close to DC's age! Color me jealous! (married or not, you'd have a far better shot! :lmao: )

Haha...I'll be 27 soon. I'm probably too old for him anyway. And my husband is a talented rockstar type so it's all good. I'll keep him.

after tha do Soulja Boy "crank dat"

My kids had to learn that dance in PE......its funny to see 2 goofy white kids try and do that dance...they love doing it....I like the beat to that song but its very annoying....he repeats over and over

they seriously taught that crap to your kids in gym class?? i can't believe that.

i don't think they could even do a rap week if they wanted to. rap isn't really "singing" it's just talking to a beat. not to say some of them aren't talented, they are(well...nowadays i'm not so sure. but back in the 2Pac, Biggie, and Dr. Dre days, it really wasn't all that bad) but this is a SINGING competition. i wouldn't mind an R&B week tho. i'd love to hear some of them do Usher....like David C and Michael!

OT:

anyone ever seen the show "Surface"

I am watching the 1st season on Netflix right now

Okay. I watched part of it. As much of it as I could handle. Your kids had to learn that dance in P.E.??? That is insane. Hopefully my kids don't end up in a school that has crap like that for exercise. What's wrong with basketball? Or even dodgeball? Haha.

........:confused3 i did mention that i fast forwarded thru most of it. half of them didn't even finish the interview before i told my DH2B "ok next please" lol. yeah this week was pretty bad. like i said, nothing against Dolly personally, but from the music i heard tonight...all 3 songs lol(because i honestly only ever knew 1 Dolly Parton song and that was because my friend was obsessed with it when we were younger, i think it was called "Romeo" or something) it just wasn't for me.

I tell my son that all the time. This isnt rap son, this is yelling to a beat....take this LL cd and caome talk to me tomorrow and then i wll give you a Run DMC and when I think you are ready you can listen to the lyrical genius of Kool Moe Dee....

Not a huge 2pac fan but Ilike Biggie, and Dre, oh and I love Eminem

I hated square dance week in PE...we had it too.....Here I am captain of the football, baseball and Basketball teams and I have to square dance....good thing I was somewhat popular

I'm sitting here singing "Shoop" and my husband is rolling his eyes again...haha.

we never did stuff like that in my gym class. we just did things like "Free time" which consisted of me bouncing a basketball around talking to my friends. i hated gym class(go figure, since i hate working out now lol).

I think you are think of the Nelly and tim Mcgraw song arent you....I am confused....Soulja Boy has no Billy Ray in it....unless they did a remix or something

I used to purposely get out in dodgeball so i could sit on the side and talk with my friends. Haha. I am not athletic. I choose to write a paper instead of doing the weighlifting section of p.e. class in high school. It was great. I sat and talked to my friends while they lifted weights. And then at the end of the quarter, I wrote a 3 page paper about swimming or something. It was so easy...haha.
