No. Not at all. :rolleyes1 I have watched his performances a RIDICULOUS number of times. Already watched one of them this morning. Since the kids are back at school and DH is at work I will probably watching him a LOT more today.

Is it Tuesday yet?

My kids are home sick, and have been home since Thursday so no chance of listening to or watching DC until they are in bed :sad2:

Dolphindan, see above: 2 kids home sick since Thursday = endless Spongebob episodes on tv. My brain can't take anymore, which is why I am sitting here doing this :surfweb:

no...my days off are Sat to Wed. I just got done cutting my moms back 40, well 5 acres actually but it felt like forty....Sitting in my chair having to watch Spongebob...the dumbest cartoon ever made

Oh man, if you think SB is the dumbest cartoon ever made you need to branch out. Ever been forced to sit thru Caillou? How about Little Bill? :headache: Ah, the joy of having little kids!

You can come up to NH and SHOVEL snow for us if you want! We are looking forward to cutting grass. (That will get old after the first few times I am sure!)

I agree that Spongebob is the dumbest cartoon. It is so irritating and my God children love it. I got them hooked on Iron Chef America and Throwdown with Bobby Flay so that I don't have to watch stupid spongebob when I watch them.

I am really looking forward to tomorrow night. I think Dolly Parton will be a fun mentor and hopefully she will encourage Syesha and Ramielle to stop being so boring!

I dont have TV in the kids room cause I dont want them trapped in there watching tv.....So when I have had enough I usually tell them to go do something else and i change the channel....they get mad but I still keep my sanity...LOL

Why cant they love Tom and Jerry I would sit and watch that...whatever happened to the old bugs bunny cartoons...I never see them any more....Now we have to be so politically correct even with cartoons....I liked seeing the coyote blow up...BEEP BEEP!

Oh, I love Little Bill. I agree with you about Caillou, can't stand that one so we don't ever watch it. My 2 year old is still easy to control :lmao: The 5year old on the other hand, Spongebob, Fairly Odd Parents, and those horrible Cartoon Network cartoons like Fosters Home for Imaginary Friends, Chowder, etc. and the worst of them all - Ed, Edd & Eddy, which I finally banned. I believe that show truly kills brain cells.

Ah, speak of the little devils. They are calling me from the living room. Gotta run, hope to be back soon.

I loved the snow and shoveling the driveway when I lived in Illinois. I wish we got that 2 or 3 times a year here in SC....I get to spray for Mosquitoes almost all year, get eaten by fireants all year, and cut grass from march to Nov.....hate that....I know I could move....I cant leave my mom now....and my wife isnt gonna go with me...she loves the heat and humidity.....blah i say

one good thing about spongebob right now is I get to keep seeing the Indiana Jones trailer....it looks great....cant wait....

Yuck. thanks for reminding me WHY I choose to live in a place with 6 months of cold weather a year! (Fire Ants scare me... I've never met one... But yikes!)
Plus most of our bad weather is not life threatening... No major
tornadoes/hurricaines/earthquakes.

I've been here in Florida going on 4 years now. I go bare footed when I'm outside and I still haven't seen or been bitten by a fire ant. I think they're over stated. Either that or we were really lucky when we chose this town.

On the other hand, I was never really in fear for my life up in Massachusetts. Down here it can be a totally different story. The worst thing about the weather up north is being bored to death.

Babieemelly,
I just wanted to say that I love the newest part of your signature!

Oh I did not like Garth at all. A couple songs were good but he was just way over hyped. Kinda how Mandy feels about Carrie and Taylor...."Wolves" was his best song and it never hit the radio....oh and he was horrible in concert
To me, and this is just my opinion of course, Garth Brooks was symbolic of everything that went wrong with country music in the late eighties and nineties. I was a faithful country listener (along with rock and roll) from 1973 when NYC first got a country music station (WHN) until about 1986 when the music just wasn't what it used to be. I think country has finally come back from the depths. There are many very good country artists who truly embrace what country is all about.

My current favorite is Josh Turner. I love the low register of his voice. (Trace has a great low register also.) I also love to look at Josh!
Hey TiggerPiglet! The game was just rained out so opening day won't be until tomorrow night at 7:00 :sad2:
I'm so mad the game was rained out. No American Idol for me tomorrow night. Maybe I'll just flip over there between innings. I'll have to rely on you all for info.

CN cartoons are truly awful. I couldn't agree with you more about them being funerals for brain cells.

Back on topic,
Are there any spoilers for tomorrow night yet? I haven't read all the pages in the thread so I may have missed them.

Babieemelly,

Thanks Lisa! I was SO excited for the game this afternoon :sad1: It was hardly even raining around here and it didn't look too bad in the Bronx so I guess it was worse than it seemed. It was really foggy and cold so it wasn't a good day for a game anyway. Now I'll have something to watch while everyone but David C., Michael, Jason and Brooke sing tomorrow! :lmao: Go Yanks!

Josh Turner local SC guy. Actually I live in a small town called Bonneau and at the resturant we eat at every thursday the owner is Josh's cousin. They always have his cd playing and autographed pics on the wall. He was actually there right before Christmas when they did a feed the needy dinner. its reallt neat and I love his voice. I actually think he sounded alot like Conway Twitty when he 1st came out.

Garth was the downfall of good country....then he met Trisha and went crazy

Thanks Mandy. Can't wait to see how they do on Tuesday night, esp. my man DC

Ok, is there something wrong with me that every night before I go to bed, I watch DC's performances that I have on my DVR? I'm thinking I'm becoming a little obsessed :rotfl: Please tell me I'm not alone.

You're not alone. I play the YouTube version over and over and over while I'm working.... His voice is just so easy to listen to... it's like buttah...:faint:

Unfortunately the forecast for tomorrow night doesn't look good either :(
National Weather Service for Bronx said:
Tuesday Night: Periods of showers and possibly a thunderstorm before 11pm, then a chance of showers. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds. Low around 42. Breezy, with a west wind between 20 and 26 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.
Boy, I hope they're wrong. I NEED me some Yankees' baseball! I've been watching some of the other games just to get a little baseball juice but it's not the same!
Garth was the downfall of good country
I couldn't have said it any better!

I just listened to the White Stripes version of Jolene... did someone say that one of the the AIs can do that? I can totally hear David C singing that!!!

It's going to be close to impossible... but I think he can do it. I'm just glad he took the spotlight off the OTHER David!:cutie:
