I've stayed at the GF and I didn't like it, I felt very out of place. Poly is my home, we're trying Contemporary this year though so I'll get back to you on that.

Poly is nice to havent stayed there but its nice. I was not a fan of the resturant 'Ohana. It was ok but I was expecting so much more. I loved Whispering Canyon at the Wilderness lodge. I also love the Garden Grill at Epcot

I think I would like to stay at the tower at Contemporary one time. Plus I will be close to Chef Mickey's which I love. I turn it to a huge kid at Disney. Watch out when I see Eeyoree. I go crazy.

That's were staying, the last time I stayed at the Contemporary well let's put it this way, Hurricane Andrew hit Florida. I've stayed at Wilderness Lodge when it first opened and wasn't impressed.

I think the contemporary would be cool for the simple fact that the monorail goes through it...that's it. The outside design does not appeal to me.

where do you get a mexico margarita?? We haven't been to WDW since our honeymoon in '03 so I'm clueless to a lot of the restaurants and stuff. I only know the parks and hotels.

Mexico Pavillion in Epcot. I havent had one but heard they were great. I prefer the beers at the Rose and Crown in Epcot

OT- but I just found out another former MMC is going to be playing at a show I'm going to, Chase Hampton. I run into any former MMCers I'll be sure to report back.

Mandy...you're making me nostalgic for the good ole MMC days...the first tape (that's right, tape) I ever bought was of The Party -- the band that was formed by 5 of the older members (Chase included) of the Mickey Mouse Club. I had a crush on both the girls...Tiffani and DeeDee...I have no idea where that tape is now, but I still remember songs from it.

When I was 10, we stayed at the GF. I'd never want to stay there now...I love walking through it and listening to the band and the piano player, but I don't fit in there a bit. Our home is actually the Boardwalk (DVC members), but the Poly is my favorite and I also really like Port Orleans French Quarter -- everything's so close by at POFQ that it's never a far walk to the pool or the food and it always seems so quiet and serene there.

I'm excited, I vaguely remember bits and pieces of MMC cause I was young at the time it was on. I grew to love Lucca's music and finally two years of trying to get to a show I can finally get up there.

Odd question, but do you need a landline for DialIdol? We only have cells in our house. AT&T Wireless of course though I am more of a Pepsi person while I listen to my iTunes on our Apple iPods. Do I sound like Ryan pitching all the products now?

Here's my take on the late night conversations I missed:
Mexico's Fiesta margarita is so good! But 2 is too much for me. Illuminations just doesn't look the same.

My favorite non-DVC resort is POFQ. I've stayed at GF. It was nice, but the rooms are no where near as nice or big as DVC rooms. The only plus was the location. We have not stayed at Poly or the Contemporary. Until DVC, we were always value/moderate people.

We leave tomorrow for WDW. I'm so excited to finally eat at Cinderella's Castle! I'm hoping to have time to run to the barber shop and get my DD8's hair done. It's cheaper than BBB and doesn't require an appointment. Though I waited an hour and a half for my DD2's first haircut there.

i made the picture smaller so it didn't take up so much room on this thread, but when it's blown up i look HORRIBLE. i'm paler than i usually am, which is hard to do! lol.

LOL, I have a habit of thinking that the person posting looks like their SIGNATURE!! You had that pic of Orlando Bloom laying down for the longest and that's what I saw you as!!
