Me either! And seeing that I'm in my 40s I'm no teenybopper either. Most of my friends who vote for Scott are in their late 30s and early 40s.

I do NOT understand Scotts appeal. I know he has fans, but I don't get it. It is the "thug" image that is appealing to young voters, sort of like the "Anti-Idol"?

Nadia is talented. She was beautiful, fun, and sassy. I get so disappointed on every results show because my favorites are leaving (and yes, I vote)

So far only Constantine and Carrie haven't made it to the bottom three now.

I don't vote for appearance. I vote for VOICE. I like Scott's VOICE. I am in my 40s and like his VOICE. Beauty, fun, and sassy don't get it in my book. I vote for the VOICE. I do not think any of these kids are qualified to be my kids' idol. I hope they chose role models that have actually done something in the real world. AI is all about the best singer.

I didn't interpret Bo's comment as arrogant at all. My interpretation was that he is doing it because he loves to perform, first and foremost. It is not about following the idol mold and winning the crown and beating the others but remaining true to yourself and still getting the votes. AI is a lot about smoke and mirrors. Bo is not hiding.

It's funny to me that so many people are saying that Bo was rude considering how rude Scott was to Simon the other day. Scott was intentionally insulting Simon while Bo seemed to be trying to put a positive spin on his situation.

I defended Scott recently when so many people thought he shouldn't be at AI after finding out about his domestic violence arrest. I said that one incident like that should be overlooked. However, I can't overlook a person who insults people, makes "interesting" gestures and IMO only has a mediocre voice. I'm not even mentioning his looks even though I kind of agree that the American Idol is more of an overall package than just a voice.

I make no secret that my favorite is Bo though. If Bo should go before Scott, I can't see continuing to watch AI. But that's just me.

Everyone has their own opinions. Personally, I can't understand the appeal of Constantine at all.

Exactly...I'm almost 47 and I love scott's voice. No I don't like his attitude, but when i do vote I vote for the voice. Now I don't get Constantine at all..his voice grates on my nerves to no end.

I haven't liked Scott since he gave attitude to his singing trio in the early Hollywood auditions. I thought he was rude. Not really sad to see Nadia go. There was something intimidating about her. Maybe it was the way she snarled or mugged to the camera. So far this season I'm not feeling it with anyone. Although I must say I think Vonzell is extremely underrated and Carrie is overrated.

I think that Bo and Nadia both have stayed true to who they are throughout the whole competition. I think they are the "real deals." In the end, it won't get either of them the AI title. I would like to see Bo go further though because I enjoy his singing.

We'll see next week if Bo wants to stay or not by his performance. Paula repeated to him to gain back his confidence. I don't see it as a lack of confidence. I see it as "here I am, the way I am." Maybe that is what Scott's fans think about Scott as well. I think Bo seems really burned out. After seeing the hectic schedule that they have, I can see that they all must be exhausted.

Simon makes his comments so that he gets the Idol who will sell the most CD's and make his company the most money. I think that is what he sees in Carrie - a gold mine from the Country Crossover fan base. I think Randy likes Bo the best and was trying to convey that last night when he said "give it your all every time". Paula - well it's hard to interpret her for various reasons. She obviously has the hots for Constantine. And, she said Bo will be in the finals, but with whom? Carrie or Constantine? She tries to be nice to everyone so her opinions don't really sway the voters one way or another.

Inquiring minds:
Did anyone notice that Constantine was the first one to give Nadia a really nice hug? I thought they looked good together. Maybe he and Nadia are the couple and Scott was with Nadia at lunch just to throw off the press. Paula didn't like that I'm sure!

It breaks my heart to see Nadia leave tonight. I think she has more presence and star quality than anyone who's left...

She's gorgeous and fun to watch. She has potential to model, act or sing, and I'm hoping this will be a stepping stone to performing jobs for her.

I think Nadia would make an awesome model! She has an awesome, larger than life thing about her that makes me want to watch her. And, although she's skinny, she wears it well. She doesn't look like a waif.

I agree. I think this group will probably be the most successful after the show is done. I think they all have a lot of potential/possibilities.

well i went back and looked.. there was one time when it comes back from commercial and they are bothering ryan.. (sticking fingers in his ear and pulling his clothes) and simon's hand starts out on her waist, and then yup yup yup he slips it to her butt.. you really had to be watching though... whoa.. i barely even caught it.. haha

Thanks! We have a really big tv, and I just happened to be sitting on the floor with ds (trying to quickly rip the itchy tag out of his pj's so that I could go back to watching) and when I looked up, there was his big hand on her tush about 12 inches in front of my face, LOL! Glad I wasn't crazy!

He wasn't holding her up, but that's a good one, thanks for the laugh! LOL!

Definately! One thing that AI has proven, is that you don't have to win the competetion to become successful! Just look at Clay Aiken.

As for the bashing of fans, that's ridiculous! Why do people have to put someone down for who they like. Tasha + Scott... don't let those who put you down for your opinion get to you. It's just not worth it!

Well, I find that interesting because traditionally those are devil's horns, and Scott is reported to be very religious. I am sure, however, that most people who use that "sign" don't have that in mind. It does seem to be used as some sort of (gangsta, rapper, homeboy...) symbol. I have seen many other artists use it as well. Now, if those two fingers are up in conjunction with the thumb sticking straight out to the side, that is sign language for " I love you". Maybe that's what he's trying to say?
I also wanted to comment on the Scott/ Nadia thing. I was watching very closely last night and if there ever was anything between them it seems to be over now! There was not even any eye contact between them, and Scott showed no emotion when she joined him in the bottom three (does he ever show any emotion?), and certainly was in no rush to hug her after she got the boot. Maybe they spent some time together because of their religious comonality, but I doubt there is anything romantic going on.

A few comments....as far as the gesture that Scott seems to make a lot..isn't it very similar to the one everyone on the ThemePark boards were accusing Steven Tyler of making in the RnRC preshow? Not trying to start anything here but I'm just curious.
And when it comes to Bo's supposed arrogance, well, I equate it with my experience. I used to routinely audition for various theater productions. Some I cared about getting very much. Others I auditioned on a whim, it really didn't matter to me very much if I was cast. I'm sure my attitude was similar to Bo's...a 'whatever happens, happens' type thing. Not arrogance but just a 'this isn't all there is in life' thing. If people keep voting for him, then he has just as good a reason for being there as someone who feels their life will be over if they don't end up as the AI.

A lot of women my age seem to like Scott. I just don't think he is AI material. But, that is my opinion. Constantine makes me crazy...those eyes. My God, I have to close my eyes when he sings. He makes me very uncomfortable. But my dd, 28, calls me after every one of his songs and announces..."I want to have his babies!!!" That could be why he drives me crazy...all those phone calls.

I like Anwar but he just seems to be traveling the same musical path every single week. Always the same.

I did like Nadia but knew she would be a goner soon.
I have to say that none of these contestants get me all excited. But it is interesting to watch every week. It's amazing to me to see how America judges these kids.

I've always heard that it's the hearing that's the first thing to go when you get older...





Seriously, I don't see the appeal at all. If you want to listen to someone singing off key, why not just go to a local karaoke bar ? That'd save the wear and tear on the rest of the nation's mute buttons.

I haven't really noticed it, but if Scott is holding up his pinkie and his pointer finger only, that is a Rock and Roll Sign, yes it is the sign of the devil, but I really don't think everyone knows that.....when I go to concerts...Aerosmith, Kiss...Rock type bands everyone is doing that in the audience....and I'm sure half of them have no clue what it really means.

Heck even I do it and I'm not a devil worshiper, I'm starting to think that Scott is getting picked on for every little thing just because people don't like his singing.

I don't think he is a bad singer, I really enjoyed his Against all odds last night...for the record, I'm 30...not a teeny bopper and not losing my hearing.

come ON! How did Scott get more votes than Bo?!?!! My sister seems to think it may have been done for ratings, because I know I'll be speed dialing for Bo next week! Though I am a retired Clay Aiken voting addict (my sister and I topped off at about 450 votes between the both of us in one week), I really think it should be one vote per phone number. I think it would be a lot fairer IMHO.

I can't believe that Bo was in the bottom three! I think that he has a good attitude. He implied that his life will go on with, or without the show! That was pretty cool!

Short and sweet:

I am disappointed, not so much that Nadia left (I kind of expected that - though I liked her), but because I personally cannot understand how America could possibly think that Scott is more talented than Bo.

Serial killer looks/lack of any displayed emotion/recently revealed domestic violence problem ASIDE -- just strictly considering voice, poise, personality and performance (i.e., the "total package") -- I simply do not understand.

I like both Bo and Constantine and vote for both consistently, but will definitely be upping my votes for Bo next week. If Bo being in the bottom two was some sort of ratings ploy or tactic by the producers to stir up his fan base, it worked.
