Official Amazing Race 25th No Spoilers

I still love the surfers most though. I started out rooting for them, just because I remember her story from when it happened. But they're just such happy, kind people who don't get stressed or angry, I just keep liking them more and more.

I was so impressed with the surfers last night. Thought they lost the clue, wandered around aimlessly for a bit, then found it, and never snapped at each other

I like Maya and her enthusiasm. She loves the Amazing Race. I agree, Surfers or Scientists, I would be so happy if either of them won.

Same here, but for DD's sake, I have to also be happy if the Irmo dentists win. Misti does seem sweet too, and she's taking patients according to the big sign at her office. I would consider seeing her if she takes my dental plan and for some reason I couldn't stick with my current dentist. Not sure I'd want Jim as my dentist, but I think the editing probably makes him out to be worse than he is. Probably he just wasn't a natural for the camera. I know I would look incredibly stupid and probably not real friendly if I had a video camera on me all the time.

I think we actually all agree with:

1st place-Soul Surfers or Scientists (some want one team more that the other but can agree we will be happy with either)

2nd place-Soul Surfers or Scientists

3rd place-Dentists

4th-Wrestlers

I'm happy with any but Brooke.
They are funny, I agree the smack talk thing is probably just part of the game and profession for them, but I prefer sweetness. Which pretty much defines Bethany, Adam, Maya, Amy, and Misti.

I don't care for the scientists at all but would put them in 2nd. I also don't really care for the wrestlers or dentists but I would put the dentists in last. He's just too creepy. I would vote:

1st: Soul Surfers
2nd: Scientists
3rd: wrestlers
4th: dentists

Jim is creepy and acts superior, but his wife helps take the edge off somewhat. But both the wrestlers are obnoxious. Brooke is rude, negative and can be mean. Robbie is dumb as a box of rocks and I don't care for any man that spends more time grooming his eyebrows than most women.

So the dentists are preferable to the wrestlers just because Jim has Misti to make him more palatable, while the wrestlers are BOTH awful.

I agree, the only reason I put the dentists in 3rd was his wife. She seems sweet.

The dentists have actually grown on me. He is hyper competitive, but I like the way he treats his wife with so much encouragement and respect. I remember that one couple from a season or so ago that were doctors, and he was so mean and belittling to her.

Having said that, my favorites are still the surfers! She has such a positive can-do attitude. If you've not seen the movie, Soul Surfer, which is based on her life, I would encourage you to watch it. Very inspirational.

I was OK with the outcome. On the one hand, I was sorry that the surfers didn't win. But I was happy for the Scientists. And I was really happy that the wrestlers were eliminated.

I am happy for the scientists. I was watching with DD and we were both happy the wrestlers got out. But she was very sad the dentists didn't win. I can sort of see her point, since the scientists wouldn't have been there at all without the twist letting them stay last week.

As for the next series, well, I'll probably watch it, but I can't say I'm happy with the concept. I've enjoyed watching the interactions of the team members with their partners, and it seems something will be missing without that love/friendship/affection/whatever aspect.

I'm wondering if it is staying on Friday night since Jeff said it follows Survivor the other night which is on Wed. now. I missed the day it starts back for both shows. Feb something.

Really wanted the surfers to win. I was thinking those girls should have been out last leg but then the dentist probably would have won.

Could not have done that last challenge, didn't the other ones say they were there 5 hours. Crazy.

I am thrilled that the girls won! The wrasslers were so bitter - so, the final leg was non-elimination. Many legs were non-eliminations. I was rooting for Adam & Bethany. I would have been ticked off if the dentists had won. Jim was so obnoxious! And what's with the overly white teeth. I wouldn't even go to a dentist who had such phony white teeth. I mean, I believe in whitening teeth, but theirs were blinding!

I'll watch next time, but the concept is odd.

I think they were fake. I don't believe it's possible for a couple to spend that much time together in such a high stress situation and NEVER bicker or annoy the hell out of one another at least once. I just get the feeling they were playing the perfect couple.

And I thought I was the only one! I will admit I did root for them to stay in it for a bit, as there were more awful teams that NEEDED to go before them (and I think Bethany is amazing), but I never found the husband (don't even know his name.) anything other than kind of creepy! I didn't find Jim creepy, which cracks my mother & sister up as they think he is way creepier.....they keep saying something about his eyes that I just don't see....

Surfer dude got a little nasty in the airport about the scientists, which was probably the first real emotion he showed. The longer the stayed & more airtime they got, the less I liked them or wanted them to win. Maybe I am just really perverse.....
