I've been reading through this thread and I have suddenly become *very* excited for this weekend!
I'm registered for Dopey (did it while talking about the "new" IFRS accounting standards in Canada and may or may not have verbally approved a change...guess we'll see next month!) and have the rest of the actual/estimated registration dates on my work calendar (and suspiciously also have meetings from 11:45 am to 1:00 pm on each of those days...funny how that happens

).
There were many posts I wanted to comment on, but I just *can't* comment before I'm caught up on the thread. So I've managed to forget 98% of what I had to say.
The 2% I remember:
-It doesn't matter how long it takes you to cross the finish line, what's important is that you cross the finish line
-I'm still nervous and questioning my ability to run a race of ANY distance. Last weekend I ran a 15k and at the start of the 15k I had no clue how I was going to finish. Forget that I've run that distance or more over 20 times...that morning I didn't think I could finish a mile, let alone 9.3 of them.
-The 2012 PHM was my first Disney race and I also ran the DL half that year. I didn't run any Disney races in 2013, this year I did Dopey (and that's it), and next year I'm planning on all of the Disney races.
-I admire people who can do a proper run/walk interval. I take walking breaks when I feel like I need them. Sometimes I can run for 3 or 4 miles, but sometimes I struggle to make it half a mile between breaks. However, I refuse to walk through a mile marker or if there's a timing mat on the course.
