"Official" 2025 Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

A couple suggestions:
  • If you want to try to get LLMP/LLSP for the party day, make sure you book your two day ticket days first, then try to book for the party last. I forgot to do that this year, and was unable to book LLMP for our last regular ticket day. I am assuming the system counted MVMCP as one of our eligible park days.
These seem like a solid recommendation!

We were just at WDW from 11/26-11/29. We had a 2 Day Ticket valid starting 11/27. We had MVMCP tickets for 11/26 and Jollywood Nights tickets for 11/29. Staying on-site DVC.

A week out I booked LLMP and LLSP for 11/27 and 11/28. After I did that I figured I’d see if I could purchase LLMP for 11/26 and 11/29. I could. Paid my money, made LL reservations for 11/26 between 4pm and 7pm (for day of our MVMCP) and LL reservations for 11/29 between 5:30pm and 7:30pm. Group of 9, went off without a hitch and all LL reservations worked. Was nice getting into MK and Studios at 4pm and 5:30pm, respectively, with LLs in hand to do some attractions with no wait before the parties officially started.

I’d follow Aussie’s advice and book your regular admission LLs first, then see if the system will let you purchase for any party days you have. Worked for us!

I attended the party on Tuesday, Nov. 25. I think the party was MUCH more crowded than last year. I did the same day (Tuesday of Thanksgiving week) last year and it just felt like it was over crowded. The only ride I did during the party was peoplemover. I wanted to do Space Mountain but I never saw the line go below 40 minutes and I didn't want to waste that kind of time. I instead concentrated on cookies (I brought home 11 cookies!!), saw both parades, the fireworks, Minnie's Castle Show and the Frozen castle lighting. I got a spot for the first parade in Liberty Square about an hour before the parade. For the second parade, I headed down Main Street after the fireworks and got a curb spot right away. Overall, I had a great time but I'm on the fence on whether I will do the party again next year or not.

We were at the party on Nov. 25 too! It was very crowded but we still had a great time. We have gone the last two trips and I was planning on skipping it this year. Of course, Disney had to release a red truck Mickey ornament and popcorn bucket, so I had major FOMO about not going. Ended up enjoying it.

We only went on a few rides since we knew we had lightening lanes for what we wanted on our actual MK days. We did go on space mountain that was a 40 minutes wait, but we were on the ride in 20min. We were hoping to have the same luck at Tron. The wait was around 55min but it went down as we were waiting in line. Not sure how long it was down, but noticed that it was never running while we made our way through the dumbo area and we hung out there for a little while.

My kids aren’t big fans of meeting the characters but they did seem to have long lines when we passed.I noticed when we walked in around 6pm Jack and Sally was only 20 minutes. That would have been great if someone wanted to meet them. We did hop in the short line to meet the polar bears because I ❤️ polar bears.

We are a family of 4 and stopped at each cookie stop. Went back to our resort with a ton of cookies since we usually shared a cookie at each stop and saved the rest.

Can someone tell me the best time to meet Stitch? Does he start at 7? And if so, should we get in line at 6:30? Any tips appreciated!

Looking at the forecast for tomorrow, do the Pooh and friends come out if it’s raining at all for the meet and great during the party? I know they are under cover but have to walk outdoors to get to the location. Wasn’t sure if it was lightly raining if they come out or no? Planning on still enjoying what we can but that’s our main priority and trying to gauge chance of seeing them if weather does rain?

Also what is the modified parade like?

At JN characters came out even in the rain last night (they stayed under cover), so I’d think they would come out at MVMCP as well!

Our party is 12/19. How early do we need to get in line to get into the park between four and 415ish? I am reading conflicting reports. Some people say you need to line up 30+ minutes early and other say don’t waste your time waiting in line outside that long and you can get in within 15-minutes if you show up a little bit after 4.

I wonder if we showed up at 4:15 if the long line would be dissipated and we would get in within 5-10 minutes?? Or if we need to be there 30 minutes early at 3:30?

We are not going to wait in line to see Jack and Sally and want to try to hit rides before and during the party as that is our priority. Plus the festive atmosphere and parade.
We do not have a park ticket for that day.

Not sure if it'll be similar, but it stormed almost the whole night of our Halloween party in September. The first parade didn't happen, but they did send out a single float (the gazebo) with some characters. The second parade did happen, but went early with little warning to get it out in between storms.

We'll also be at the party tonight and it basically looks like a repeat of the September party. Hopefully it's not as bad, but it is what it is.

We arrived at about 3:50 and were in just after 4. I noticed that people who arrived at 4 when the line started moving were not that far behind us. We have arrived 30 minutes before in years past and just sat and waited and I don't think we got in any earlier. If you are not trying to get in line for Jack and Sally, I think you'll be fine getting there at 4:15 and won't have to wait long.

I was thinking the same thing. Feel so bad for people with tickets to tonight’s party. It’s been absolutely pouring and thunderstorms for hours. Can’t imagine the stage show or parades will happen and possibly not the fireworks either? (Only my guess)

((Hugs)) to those affected.

We had tickets for tonight, the party was cancelled due to the weather. Huge thunderstorms!

I am so bummed, but to be honest we had decided to skip. It has been absolutely pouring all evening and the parades were cancelled last night due to weather.

We were given a 1 day park hopper ticket to be used within a year.

DH and I already have a trip planned with friends for October 2026, so it takes some of the disappointment away. Now to decide if we want to try MNSSHP. 🙃

We're currently at the party, definitely not cancelled. Rain finally stopped around 10, funny enough this basically the same thing that happened to our Halloween party, even the single "float" for the first parade (that went by the hub around 10) was the same as our Halloween party. Fireworks still happened, just 15 minutes late. Not ideal, and the one day park hopper pass doesn't work for us as APs, but in the fall we were able to get a full refund instead, so we'll swing by guest relations tomorrow to see what they can do.

Was there any push notice of a refund or 1 day PH for you?

Did you get a push notification or contact Disney or something? Obviously it wasn’t cancelled but very severe weather can result in automatic refunds or 1 day PH.
