"Official" 2025 Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

We have gone for the past two years and we weren't crazy about JN. Some of our thoughts might have been tainted by the $60 (for two) mint hot chocolates we got at HBD Lounge that tasted like toothpaste! We had already decided not to go back this year but I think we'll give it another shot, especially since I need a new mug! It seems the people who loved it concentrated on the rides more than we did so maybe we will kind of use it as an AH.

We absolutely love MVMCP though and wouldn't think of skipping it! I

Always good to hear thoughts on JN. We have young kids and have skipped it since it started.

My view is that if you want to do rides, the first night is a good time to go because Disney influencers are there to do party specific things (food, shows, meet and greets, etc.)-- but if you don't care about rides, it's probably going to be more congested with people focused on all the party things than your average party?

Keep in mind the first party is also generally priced higher.

We try to avoid the first night because I actually want to get some information about the new party options before going.
THIS

That's the info I was waiting on. There is a party the night before our cruise which i was hoping for and thought based on last year, but you never know till it's official.

Parties do sell out, but typically not closer to the party dates (unless you want to go to the first or the last party...then I'd get those tix as soon as you can after they go on sale, just to be safe).
Thank you! We are planing to buy ASAP, we were just want to surprise our family closer to the trip :)
You do have to assign the ticket to someone. You can just put their names on the tickets and link to their My Disney Experience accounts later. The tickets will remain under your account, but with their names listed as the ticket holders.

If they already have MDE accounts and they are linked with you and you do not want them to see the tickets, you will have to not choose them from the drop down when you purchase the tickets. Instead add them and type in their names. The tickets can be merged with their accounts later on. Disney can do this for you.
Thank you for your help!

Woof, we're at WDW from 12/9-13 (flying out early Saturday, so no nighttime stuff) and the 9th, 11th, and 12th are all MVMCP dates? We were gonna skip that and stick to JN this year but seems like we can't if we want to have at least one night at MK.

Argh, I was only gonna do JN this year (also why doesn't JN have it own thread for 2025?) but now this says Mickey and Minnie will be meeting in their christmas finest at town hall - which is new, so no Daisy, Donald, Scrooge and Minnie together - that MnG took forever last year!

Yes… forever. Excited they will be meeting together, though.

Has anyone ever been to the first party? Do the vloggers make it miserable? Also I like vloggers, I watch a few of them regularly! I just want to be able to enjoy the night if that makes sense.
We went on first night last year. We didn't notice any vloggers. We wound up spotting our group in a video so they're definitely there but not in the way. Remember, they're not going to be riding your standard rides; they've got cookies to film, holiday overlays to capture and merch to highlight.

*Also, while first party was fun it turns out a week after Halloween is too early for our family to feel Christmas-y. We're going in early December this year.

I meant to ask if anyone knows what time of day that the tickets for non-resort guests open up? Is it historically the same as previous years?

I would say that the median is around 7am. But honestly, it's all over the place. I've seen them drop at 6am, 7:30am, 9am lol...it's anybody's guess.
