"Official" 2025 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

Gosh, does it seem like a lot more parties than usual were rained out this year? I just keep reading about it on social media!

Trying not to fret too much about the 60% thunderstorms every day for my entire trip starting this weekend.

We were there the same week! No I feel we lucked out that it cleared consistently after 6-7pm! We did have our share of drenchings!

I think it's fairly common for the September/early October parties but it does seem like it's happening all the time this year. DH just had me go buy a new raincoat just in case for our party on 10/28.

Our first time spending a week in late September and early October. It is our DVC fixed week 39 so we better get used to it fast!

Yep! We've got ponchos and umbrellas for the 10/30 party!

Fingers crossed we're out of the rainy season by our week!

If we use the past as a performance indicator, how likely would I be to pick up a single ticket for the Halloween party end of this month? thinking of 29, 30 or 31st?

So, there isn't a party on the 29th and the 31st has been sold out since the tickets went on sale. Your best bet would be to try for the 30th but I too think it's highly unlikely.

While it's not impossible (I was just able to get a ticket for the 26th), it's not guaranteed. It just depends on how many people change their dates, and how many people try to get tickets

We were there 10/3 and went to get in line to meet Mickey and Minnie in their costumes and was told they don’t start until 7 pm. I had read they started at 4 pm if you have a wristband but nope. DD had gone to a party in August where they started at 4 pm. I don’t know if this is an isolated incident or something new but it threw off my plans.

Correct that they start - with other party overlays - at 7:00 pm.

Mickey is meeting at 4, but alone and in his normal magician outfit.

I managed to get a ticket for the 30th. When I arrive at MK a few days before I should ask for one for the 31st and if they have it they will swap it.

You are right if the forecast looks bad then I’ll keep my current ticket.

debating LL passes to use between 4 and 7 on 10/28. Would like to ride Tron - 7 dwarves, haunted mansion, pirates, peter pan, haunted , mansion, small world, jungle cruise. Would like to have some treats, get a little candy, maybe a couple characters - if lines are short, Love the stepsisters and anyone from alice in wonderland - and will go to second parade. I dont know if I need to see fireworks with castle overlay? Will watch the halloween fireworks from Poly on the 26th so its not a big priority. Kind of want to check out Tiana but dont want to be wet all night. Am I likely to need lightening lane? If so should I do the multi to use between 4 and 7 or do one or both of the headliners? Does Tron have a single rider line? Going with boyfriend. Will be his first time at magic kingdom, my first time there without any kids, but have been there several times.

I believe what you heard was incorrect. The park is still open to day guests until 6:00 so Mickey would be in his regular outfit. They don’t divide the line between day guests and party guests.
