"Official" 2025 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

Also - could I grab the wristbands for everyone in my party (showing tickets) and run to meet them closer to TS, or does everyone need to be present? I wasn't sure if they were actually scanning tickets or just looking at them (the later of which means everyone would need to be present).

Everyone has to be present, scan their ticket/ MB & have the wrist band applied by the CM. If they just handed out wristbands, people would just buy tickets for half their group then share & pass the wrist bands around. How do I know this? Coz that’s exactly what happened when Disney After Hours started years ago. Initially they gave a lanyard with a large ticket in a clear pouch. There were many reports of groups having just a few lanyards & passing them among themselves, taking turns on rides & getting the included snacks for everyone. There were a lot of complaints to Guest Services. Disney changed to wrist bands pretty quickly. The CMs make sure to apply them so they can’t be easily slid off for the same reason.

If we are already in the park and get wristbands at one of those locations, are the bags the same as the check in at the main gate?

Thanks!! I figured this was the case (people ruin it for everyone), but just wanted to double check. Appreciate the response and insight. We may be telling her Jack and Sally "haven't made it from Halloweentown yet" and just take her to meet the princesses and some other characters before they switch over at 6 and ride some rides. We did score a Beak and Barrel reservation for 2:30 and I am *very* unwilling to give that up lol

Yup, most years we get our wristbands in the park, and they give you both the wristband and the candy bag and it's the same bag. I think the only thing you don't get is the first full size piece of candy that those that go through the bypass get.

Molly from Mammoth club has a video up and she shows getting her wristband at Tortuga with a party bag and full size M&Ms inside so it looks like you can get it all there.

Hi everyone. For those of you have attended MNSSHP either this year or in years past, how long does it take to get through the park entrance? We have dinner reservations at 4:35PM at Crystal Palace on our party night. We will not have a regular day ticket. How early should we plan to get into line so we can enter Magic Kingdom? I was thinking/hoping if we arrive at 4PM that should be enough time to get scanned for MNSSHP. Thoughts?

Are they strict about holding a spot in line before the party starts? Asking because I’ll have an active toddler with me

I think that should be fine.
There will likely be quite a line at 4pm but it will start to move. Even if it ends up taking you 20-25 minutes to get in, you’ll still have plenty of time to get to CP.

I would arrive by 3:30 to allow time for security, queue, wristband, etc.

There are many families with toddlers. Are you asking to wait elsewhere while someone waits in line? For what activity? Generally ‘joining your party later” is frowned upon as it is very difficult to pass other families to join your group.

Practicing at home before your trip can be helpful. We did a lot of ‘Disney practice’ before our trips when my dd was a toddler. Our kids can amaze us at how well they can do and there is lots to see while in line.

Oh, if 1 parent is in the line and the others join later on.
How many people are you talking about joining up in line? One adult and one toddler, or more than that?Honestly, that would be up to the others in line you would be getting in front of, rather than Disney employees.

1 adult and one toddler. I'll be testing her that day it seems lol. Hopefully she can take a long wait. She loves Nightmare Before Christmas (so do I) so I want to line up early so we can see Jack and Sally straight away.

Many many families at WDW have active toddlers with them. They wait in the lines. For admission, rides & attractions. If you’re going to do anything there, you’ll have to wait in line with your toddler.
