No. Halloween is usually the most expensive. first page of board shows relative pricing from past years.no dates for my trip....I could extend the trip possibly to go to the first party...but wouldn't that be the most expensive?
Maybe I will go to the first party then....I don't know! Only 2 days to change reservations and decide aaaahNo. Halloween is usually the most expensive. first page of board shows relative pricing from past years.
Take a look at page 9 on this thread. Folks who have been on opening night share their first-hand experiences, some positive and some negative. Is it a bad idea to go on the first night? Trying to set proper expectations…
Yes. Definitely do the 24th.Decisions, decisions...
We will be there 8/23 - 8/30.
Three parties while there plus a HS AH that we'd like to do. So, we are thinking .. Sunday, 8/24 for MNSSHP for a couple of reasons. If we did the 8/26 one (which is our 25th wedding anniversary lol), the HS AH would be the following day. We'd probably be fine doing that, but thought maybe we shouldn't lol. We also don't want to do the Friday, 8/29 party since we are leaving 8/30 and will probably leave earlyish.
Do you stay onsite at least so you can use the buses? I wouldn't want to do 2 parties while having to navigate my way to the TTC late and through the crowds.Booked hotel 2 weeks ago. Flights and Mears today.
Now 1 party or 2...? I say 1 now and know I'll end up adding the second as soon as the first date sells out - lol!!![]()

Always hope the F&W bands are good but I'll take whatever.
Scheduled to be at WDW 8/24-9/5. I’m about ready to strangle my extended family that are coming with us for part of the trip. They say they want to do MNSSHP yet when I try to get them to nail down a date so I can purchase tickets on Thursday…crickets! If they don’t want to go, I’d prefer to do the party in Sep if they don’t go. Kinda at a loss what to do![]()

Ha, okay. Same here. Gotta be in the bubble, and not just for late-night park parties lolAlways.![]()
Adding my voice to the chours of people saying not arrival day. It's just too risky with the possibility your flight could be delayed or you could hit traffic. Ideally you'd be at the gates to the MK a little before 4pm. If everything goes perfectly, with you landing at 2pm then having to get luggage and drive to WDW, you'd be very unlikely to get into your room and have a minute to sit down before the party. I've done the party the night before I flew home and it made for a tired, achy flight. I'd suggest Friday. As far as busiest, all parties will sell out so there's really no difference between a Friday and a Monday.Which day would you all pick for the event?
We land Thursday 10/9 at 2 pm, staying at GF. There is a party that night, but Worried it will be a bit much with the day of travel for kids and grandparents, but seems like it would be the quietest of the holiday weekend
Or would you do Friday 10/10 (which I assume would be busiest) or Monday Columbus Day (last night of stay)? We have 4 full days otherwise that we will be doing a dedicated day at each park, including a separate MK day, so not too worried about hitting rides at the event as much as taking in the experience
