Looking at historical data, the parties do not start selling out until November.I am surprised there is only one sold out date so far (11/8). Is this typical? I would have thought more dates would have been sold out by now.
I hope it's soon. I'm getting excited about everything and so jealous watching everyone make reservations. I have to wait until the 20th and the 21st because of our split stay and I don't think I can stand the wait anymore! When do they usually start announcing food and stuff for the party? Has to be pretty soon, right?
Sure can, we did for Casey's corner. Are you still able to mobile order during the parties?
I would do it on the 6th, personally. You want to be rested and stress-free. You could also consider rope dropping MK in the morning, then resting in the afternoon before returning for the party to take advantage of lower crowds. Epcot is my favorite park to visit the evening of my arrival. There's plenty of places to grab dinner without needing a reservation and it is so beautiful at night.Hi everyone, my sister generously offered to purchase us Christmas party tickets for our 12/5-12/8 Disney trip, so I'm learning all about how the party works and trying to work it into our plans! Our current travel plans have us landing at MCO around 3:30 p.m. on Thursday 12/5. She had originally suggested going to the 12/5 party, but now I'm worried that will be cutting it too close if our flight is delayed. Plus, then we will be pretty exhausted for our next few park days, my plans for which involve early entry each day.
I was thinking of suggesting we do the 12/6 party and combine it with a day at Epcot or Hollywood Studios, but I've also heard that it's a bad idea to do another theme park before a Christmas party. 12/8 would be great except that our flight leaves late that night and I'm not sure I can take Monday off work as well.
What to do? Any advice for fitting MVMCP into a whirlwind trip while not running ourselves totally ragged? The event looks like a lot of fun and I hope I get to experience it!
This is so good to hear - we've never been to a Disney party of any sort. We are so excited!I went to MVMCP last year, and it was so worth it! The holiday vibes are everywhere, and the character meet and greets are super fun. Just make sure to get your tickets early—some dates sell out fast!
We're also doing breakfast at Boma the day of our party, as well! We're doing a late breakfast, though because we're staying in the Cars suites at AOA the night before and my kids will want to enjoy a lazy morning in the suite. We decided to have a sit down breakfast (Boma) the day of the party, then a small lunch at Disney Springs (shopping) and then eat at party! I will probably get the cheeseburger eggroll or corn dog nuggets to split with someone when we get there around 4, then some specialty party food.
Same deal for Jollywood Nights day - but breakfast at Trattoria Al Forno.
Me! We've only been once last November and it's my oldest daughter's (age 5) favorite ride! I've been hoping and praying it wouldn't go down when we surprise our kids with another party in November. We will gladly miss meet and greets to ride big thunder over and over!Thunder Mountain is closing for over a year starting Jan 6, 2025.
How many of us are going to ride it as much as we can during the party to get our fix?![]()
Me! It was my very first real rollercoaster as a kid so I try and do it whenever I'm at a Disney park. I had a LL for it in July at Disneyland but it went down before I could use it. I will definitely be riding it this trip.Thunder Mountain is closing for over a year starting Jan 6, 2025.
