"Official" 2024 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

It was great! I think the dates we were there were 9/17/24 through 9/28/24. The second week is when it changed, we did the EEH on Wednesday 9/18 at the MK, and the next Wednesday it changed to DHS from the MK. Still Mondays for Epcot, which really weren't much of a "extra", except we rode Guardians twice since we were able to get the 2 VQ's at the time. It wasn't crazy busy so we rode Guardians right at the beginning of the EEH and then left. We did everything else during regular park hours.

So if I’m planning a trip late October, I should be able to get EEH on Monday at Epcot, but Wednesday will (most likely) be DHS?
I was planning BWV Sat-Tuesday then BLT Wednesday-Sunday, but if EEH will be at DHS, Maybe I need to stay near crescent lake longer?

MVMCP tends to be DAK now too because of Jollywood Nights. As with anything Disney-related the only constant is change. If you have enough points I would book both accommodations and drop nights once Disney updates the calendar prior to the holding period.

Yep I just added a night at both, I extended my BWV stay and also picked up Wed at BLT.
I guess I’ll just keep them as individual stays until we know the schedule, and if it’s too late to bank or whatever just rent the confirmed res?
And if ends up being at AK, I’ll just pick one to keep. lol

When is your banking deadline? I think it's very likely to be DHS or AK and NOT MK (but WDW could surprise us) so you may be able to drop the BLT if you want to keep your own points rather than renting.

Actually, I meant that I could rent out the confirmed res for one of the rooms I don’t use rather than cancel and try to bank or rent the points.

I’m not sure which points are what this time around. My UY is Sept or Oct, but I don’t think I’ll need to bank, I’m pretty sure all these points are 2025 anyway.

I just looked at my calendar for this past September, and the first EEH at DHS was on September 25th, so I would imagine it stayed that way through October. We had the EEH on 9/18 at MK, then the next week it was at DHS (on 9/25). Have fun!

Hopefully they announce dates sooner than later.

You definitely could, but unless the points were banked from 2024 UY to 2025 UY you can save them for a future trip of your own if you'd like. You have until April/May to bank with Sept/Oct.

I did call member services this morning and got all my transferred points swapped into any bookings I had, so now everything in 2024 (including transferred) is being used, and everything I don’t use from 2025 can be banked if needed. Will most likely be 3-13 points per each membership, so that’s fine… but I am definitely starting to see the pros if they were all the same use year.
