Ah. Friday the 11th is sold out now
Not that I would advocate trying to go this Friday given the uncertainties around the hurricane, but i would bet anything they’re getting a ton of cancellations for this week and Friday is not actually sold out anymore if you call or go to guest services.

Again, that said, even getting to WDW on Friday may be very difficult based on what happens Tuesday and Wednesday.

How do you 'cancel' a party reservation-we have tickets for Thursday's party. Our flights are cancelled and the earliest we can even possibly get there is Sunday.

Did our first MNSSHP on Friday 10/4 and feel very lucky we literally danced between the raindrops of Helene and Milton. No Disney party is worth putting your life in jeopardy and hope everyone can cancel/get their money back/rebook for a later party. Please stay safe!

That being said we had a great time at the party! But I think part of what made it a success was hanging out at MK most of the morning and early afternoon. People aren't kidding about the park being less crowded on party days. We did all the rides we wanted to do during the day...went back to resort for lunch and relaxing then came back around 5:30 ready to hit the attractions. Our DS was super into the trick or treating...we were lucky enough to wander onto the Sanderson Sisters stage show and managed to find an open spot basically right in front of the castle by luck! What we should've done is stay right where we were as the parade was only about 25 minutes away but we moved and found ourselves still in a decent spot but a little more crowded. Did ride Tiana after the fireworks and got absolutely soaked in our costumes! Hung out with the pirates and pirate band and of course had to meet Jack Sparrow dressed as Jack Sparrow! 10/10 would definitely do it again!

Well, I bailed. Got a flight out on Tuesday. Got to figure out how to cancel my party ticket, lost the money spent on multi pass and single passes for the next three days, but who knows when I’d get a flight on if I hung around.

Can anyone tell me what time people start lining up for the 1st boo to you parade? Specifically in Frontierland? Thank you!

Went last Thursday and we got a good spot in Frontierland about 45 minutes before the parade. I will say it was already filling up fast and I believe there were no more obvious front row spots a few minutes after that. I'd probably go 50 minutes next time just to have more spots to choose from....as a side note, the headless horseman coming out 10 minutes before the parade starts makes the wait seem shorter.

Attended MNSSHP on Friday 10/4. Great weather, great party. Successes included riding Tiana as a walk-on twice. First, at 6pm. Arrived at the MK at about 5:30, got wristbands and party bags. Walked over to Tiana. Total walk-on. Second time was during the 2nd parade. We watched the horseman and the first couple of floats in Frontierland, then walked on Tiana. Other successes included a walk-on Tron after the fireworks. Got sundaes from the Plaza and watched the fireworks from the yellow umbrella tables by the Plaza. Downside of watching from there is you can't see the Jack puppet, but we've seen him before. Upside is you have your own little seated fireworks dessert party and a super fast, very low crowd, post-firework direct run to Tron, where we walked on. Other successes included seeing the hitchhiking ghosts, a great new addition. Cadaver Dans were fun as always. Rode everything we wanted walk-on. Got popcorn buckets for a friend at 6:30 at the popcorn stand in front of the castle on the Liberty Square side. Waited 15-20 minutes. At that time, I saw a massive line for the sippers over at Sleepy Hollow. Had to have been an hour and half line. Crazy. Honestly, while those sippers looked cute online, in person I was not a fan. Plus, I'm not one to spend more than 20 min in line for merch. We did a few character meets over in Adventureland - Moana, Aladdin and one other villain guy (I'm blanking on who he was). Had not intended to do character meets, but they were walk-up, so we did, and they were fun. Likewise, had not intended to trick or treat much. BUT, there were treat locations all over the place with no lines. (Except for Princess Fairytale Hall early in the night, later on there was no line). The CMs were giving out giant scoops of candy. And so.... oops, the 3 of us ended up with a massive candy haul. Was one of our most fun Halloween parties and we've been to quite a few.

Just chat them for a refund on the LLs. We had a successful DP of that in the tropical weather thread. No need to call.

This! We waited too long at 30 min beforehand and got crammed in behind a family that had an enormous stroller taking up a ton of real estate (they parked it perpendicular to wear they were standing, kids to the side, and no one in the stroller. The dad left to get a snack and he couldn’t get back to his family because it was like a ton of sardines. I had better luck the year before getting a great spot on Main Street outside the emporium.

Am I doing something wrong or is there not a way to add Boo To You and Fireworks to MDE? My party ticket shows up under Tickets.
