Same!Friday, going to the party on Sunday.
I just want to thank whoever put the tip many many pages back to try to get a parade spot down on Main Street around the hub circled way down in the beginning near the train station. Everything else was completely full and we walked down there and were able to get a spot easily and this was about 45 minutes early.
Somewhere between 730 and 740 we noticed hub and pretty much everywhere had people hunkering down. It looked bleak!! Then i remembered people go back to the enterance circle by Tony’s. When we turned left after the Confectionary, towards Tonys and where Mickey meets, i saw open space behund the yellow rope. I confirmed with CM on sidewalk, could we stand there and that the parade would be going around that circle, and she said Oh Yes! We probably shouldve tried to move more in front of Tonys for a more of a direct on approach, but was grateful for a front row. I didn’t realize it would fill up 45 minutes early. So I was grateful to have the spot. I didn’t notice what was filled up in front of Tony or anywhere else around the circle. It started to fill up around us after that.Hi we're going next week and I searched through the thread looking for the original comment without luck. Can you give some more details on where you went and a good time to go for watching the first parade? Thank you
Awesome, thank you for the detailed explanation!Somewhere between 730 and 740 we noticed hub and pretty much everywhere had people hunkering down. It looked bleak!! Wow there was space even during the parade?I agree with @DJFan88. We watched the parade near Liberty Tree Tavern and moved once it all went by. We then walked down main street and the circle area by the train station was so open. We watched the end of the parade again with so much better of a view.
This was our view near LTT
Wow that's awesome, we're going to give it a go!This was our view near LTT
we had a straight on view down by the train station, when we were near LTT, I was standing in the bark mulch behind a bunch of people.

Better get there earlyThis time we’re going to try and go all the way to the start by Peco Bill’s (and get a mobile order while we wait) then after it passes either do Tiana’s, Big Thunder or go around to Pirates and trick or treat in Adventureland.
Avoid the post parade crush around Liberty Sq and wait for crowds to disperse a bit before heading back that way.
The other positive here is if you want to meet Mickey, your likely to be quick in and ive heard a small wait at that time. Its harder to get up to the stageshow if your going right away, but if good weather, the last show should definitely be less crowded. Fireworks had the GMs showing you into decent spots after, which surprised me as we didn’t put a lot of time into staking one out.Wow that's awesome, we're going to give it a go!
Was this something you did online or you had to go in person? So far - I’m still 100% successful in getting a ticket for a sold out party! My MNSSHP ticket is for Sunday 9/29 but it’s looking like rain - so I started yesterday checking for a ticket for tonight - no luck - but I kept checking and checking and wanted to give it 1 more try before calling it quits - and VOILA - 1 ticket had just popped up at GS at MK!
