Does anyone have firsthand experience getting the Minnie Sipper? How long they waited in line, when they lined up, etc.?
I really want to get one since I missed it by one day at DL last year but also don’t want to waste all my party time in line.

How early do folks start waiting for the party fireworks if they want to see them from a spot facing the castle?

Usually about an hour or so. I think I was a bit late and got there around 915

Apologize if this is already addressed in the thread; looked back in the thread but it is quite long!. Following now so will get notice of future posts. Can anyone who has been to the Halloween event let us know approximate wait times for Tron at different times during the event. Do wait times show up during the event show up in the Disney Experience app?

If you are near either Tron or Tiana's right near 6pm there is minimal wait. After about 630-7 the wait did go up a fair bit. Came back down during and after fireworks. No wait times are shown 6-7, start showing again at 7 on the app.

Was at Friday's party. We did Tron around 8:30. It was listed as a 35 minute wait at that point. It was pretty accurate (every other wait time that night was definitely overstated!). For example, we got in line for Tianna's at 6:10 (said 45 minutes), we were in our log at 6:34.

Wait times re-appear in MDE at 7.

Have fun!

Does anyone know the price of the Oogie Boogie cupcake or has tried it and has a review?

I wound up getting one on Friday. It was either $5.25 or $6.25 (I'm leaning towards $6.25). The actual cupcake was good, but the frosting was extremely sweet

Are the restaurants that are open during the party only serving the special party offerings or can you order off of their regular menu, too?

I only went to Casey's, but the regular menu was still available

Well, sadly, I missed out on purchasing September 13 or 15th tickets and they are all sold out. Since I am an annual passholder, is magic kingdom still pretty quiet on the day of the Halloween party? If so, maybe going on a quiet park day might be just as fun.
Party days are still really quiet until about 4, when party guests are able to get in with just a party ticket. We are APs with tickets to the 9/22 party and plan on rope dropping MK on 9/20 to enjoy low waits and then we’re going to hop into HS after our midday break.

Just to add a data point, on August 9 at 8:39pm Tron was listed at 40 minutes.

We went to the Friday party and the weather as awesome. Not a drop of rain to damper the Halloween spirit! We spent most of the day in a cabana at the GF so was pretty rested when we showed up at MK around 5pm. No wait and walked right in.

I was able do everything I had wanted to do during the party which included watching the parade, fireworks and Hocus Pocus show. We got a great spot for the first parade across from the Country Bears and we only showed up 15 minutes before. Looking around, there were plenty of decent spots all along the route from Frontierland. For fireworks, we found another awesome spot in the hub 15 minutes before by the left of the handicapped spot. There was weirdly no one in it so our view was totally unobstructed since no one was directly in front of us. Then we stayed for the Hocus Pocus and the view wasn't too bad until they started filling in that space for the second parade but by then, most of the show had already gone by. Rides had lines but they moved constantly so it did not feel bad at all. First time riding Mine Train in years since we refuse to pay $$$ or stand in line for it. Got to ride Tron at night so that was cool too.

For snacks, we got the Bowl of Bones, Spicy Pork Spring Rolls, Guava Lemonade Slushy and the Cinnamon Apple Sundae. We were not impressed by any of them and thought they were just okay.

All in all, we had a great time at our first Halloween party and thought the crowds were manageable. Might have felt different lugging our 4 year old around but we were solo this trip which allowed us to squeeze every drop out of our party tickets lol.

Our goal is to be in line for Jack and Sally asap We will already be inside. Where is the best place to get your band and be close to J&S? In the front of the park? Last year was a bit chaotic and not very well marked in Tomorrowland. Got ours finally just before 4:00 but that will be too late if they let the party ticket holders in just before 4:00.

Does anyone know if the street corn fries at Casey’s have the toppings individually added? I love street corn but don’t want the pulled pork. I couldn’t tell from reviews but it looked like they were separate (corn and then pork).

Hello, fellow DISer's! Not attending a party this year, but will be at WDW for a very short trip the first week of Sept for the F&W festival and planning a MK day on Friday 9/6, which is a party day. Has anyone been to MK on a party day so far this year? I know traditionally party days have lower crowds, but since that's is now pretty well known, wondering what the crowd levels look like during the morning and early afternoon. Thx!

Was there on Friday from rope drop through party. It was very quiet during the day! I had been able to get a MPLL for Tianna even though it was only the 3rd day of a 4 day trip. At one point I held MPLL for BTM, SM and Tianna's at the same time!

7:30 early entry and by 9 we had done Pooh, LM, BTMRR, HM (LL), Tron boarding group, JC (booked LL after HM, but was walk on so modified to BTMRR), PoC (prebooked LL but was walk on so modified to Space) stopped for popcorn and drinks. I actually feel like I might be missing something.

We rode/watched everything (a few twice), had a table service lunch and were just chilling and killing time by about 2:30.

I would definitely go on a party day again, even if not attending the party!

I had them last night and I didn’t see them prepare the food, but it seemed like the fries were topped with the pork first and then the rest of the toppings - they weren’t mixed into the pork. They looked almost exactly like this photo from the mobile order menu except served in a paper tray with more queso fresco on top. I don’t normally like BBQ but these were good! I didn’t even think to ask for them without the pork since I was mobile ordering and there wasn’t a way to request modifications but it seems like they could likely do that when ordered at the counter.

Thanks! That’s what I saw in a bunch of videos. I’ll give it a shot😁

Feeling giddy for the 10/11 party! I just booked a quick getaway for the kids and I to say our goodbyes to Tom Sawyer’s Island and Dinoland, and was thrilled tickets to MNSSHP were still available for our weekend. I thought we were going to miss out on it this year. Now time to catch up on this 81 page thread! 😆
