8/13 sold out

This is a slightly quicker timeframe than last year when the 2nd party sold out 7/25. As you can see in the sell out data from last year this kinda kicked off the sell-out announcements so if you're on the fence it might be time to start thinking about making that call- especially if you're looking at an August party.
Dah! I knew it was going to sell out but that doesn't make the news any easier to swallow.

Our daughter is a CM and was going to buy us Party tickets but they changed the rules this year and CMs now have to accompany their guests to the gate for MNSSHP. Unfortunately, she doesn't get her schedule until the two weeks before the Party, so if she's working we're all SOL on non-refundable Party tickets.

Still, it was nice to imagine for a little while.

Many of you have been discussing transportation on-site, but I was wondering about off-site. We are staying off-site (not my choice), and will be using ride-share to get to the park. I wonder if anyone has had good luck getting an Uber/Lyft at 12:30 am after the party when we likely will be exiting. TIA!

You will need to take Disney transportation to TTC where you can arrange for a pickup from there. Not sure how availability is.

I’m in that position this trip and have no concerns. Orlando does not shutdown at midnight, people are getting rideshares from MCO & downtown Orlando that time of night all the time.

We had no trouble getting a Lyft after the party. To avoid the lines to the TTC, we walked to Contemporary and met our driver there. Contemporary even had benches for us to rest on while we waited. :)

Can others who have attended MNSSHP/MVMCP in the past and needed transportation to GF or Poly please share what transportation option(s) were available to you after the party?
The Poly/GrandFloridian resort boats were running last year during MNSSHP throughout the evening. I’m not sure how late the boats operate post covid, but in the past, we’ve been on those boats a few times around 1am.

Possibly because a Minnie Van is a fraction of the cost of a night at Contemporary. Not everyone can afford a deluxe resort.

There may not be boats running after the party, this is still to be determined.

If boats are not running, Disney offers buses in place.

We stayed at Wilderness lodge in November 2022 & had tickets for Mickeys Very Merry Xmas Party & the boats were running that evening after the event. So hoping the same will be for the MNSSHP🤞

I'm sure this has been addressed already, so I apologize for not reading the entire thread (I'm currently making my way through the new Lightning Lane strategy thread).

I've never been to MNNSHP before. For regular MK days, I always purchase the dessert party strictly for the less-crowded fireworks viewing. I know that no one enjoys crowds but I get particularly anxious/panicked when I'm in a shoulder-to-shoulder group of people, so the cost is worth it to me to be able to enjoy the projections/fireworks without the added stress.

Do I need to purchase the dessert party for MNNSHP crowds? I know that they sell limited tickets but my idea of "limited" and Disney's idea of "limited" are drastically different.

Thank you in advance.

I would buy it for peace of mind. Where’s the fun at a party if you spend half of it worried about having an anxiety attack when it’s time for fireworks?

I buy the dessert party for this very reason.

You could also watch the fireworks from behind the castle. We have sat by Prince Charming's Carousel - plenty of room, or on the planters outside the Teacups. Both give you great views of the fireworks and you can still hear all the music. You do miss the Jack Skeleton Puppet and any projections, but you get a better view of the actual fireworks (no castle in the way).

I like to sit outside Gaston’s Tavern for fireworks; yes, I miss all the projections, but I get an unobstructed view of the fireworks and a seat (with a table, if I happen to have snacks) with very few people around.

I agree with the walk to the contemporary to call a rideshare. I have done it several times with no issues, and will be doing it again in Sept.

The second party selling out gave me the push I needed to sit down and purchase our MNSSHP tickets. We'll be at Disney in a month and very excited to attend the party this year! We only attended one other time, 6 years ago and my daughter was very timid at the time. This time we're looking forward to enjoying much more of the party offerings!!
