Worth the wait!

We were able to get the one more ticket we needed on Oct 24th for my youngest! Super excited! The Cast Member kept telling me she was sprinkling pixie dust, she seemed super happy to be making magic for us

I think I've hit on my MNSSHP costume this year...a bear suit with a sash that says "Kingdom Crasher".

That would be EPIC

The big thing we were surprised by was the lack of treats we got. We figured with the scoops we'd get more than previous years, but we ended up with far less. After hitting up each treat trail, some multiple times, we still don't have full bags…

Wow. I did like 5 and had over half a bag. The inconsistency of their treat distribution is crazy- especially since they instituted the scoops

ETA- I felt it was not as crowded as my 2019 MNSSHP. But it was definitely the most crowded party since. I think this was my max crowd level; I’m rather questioning whether it was worth it at that price after my great party morning in MK later on my trip.

That just seems extraordinary to me since I did the party on 9/10 and loaded my bag at least 3 times. Sorted it when I got back to the room… about 175 pieces more than half chocolate, loads of M & M’s. Posted this pic earlier. Got home and filled more than 3 old Disney popcorn buckets!

All I can think is that they maybe started cutting back in quantities to get through the rest of the Halloween parties… which is NOT cool!

Ooohhhh. I went on Labor Day. Wow that would be a cheap cutback, especially for the eye watering prices those later in the season are paying.

Regarding candy, we were at this past Friday night's party (9/22) and came back with full bags. We even passed on a few of the treat lines that looked long and weren't moving. It did take us almost to the end of the night to get that much, though.

I’m ready for tonight! Hope for a fun evening was able to snag Tron and 7DMT ILLs so hopefully that takes some pressure off! But will be a busy rush start to the party for us!

When you said you were able to snag Tron and 7DMT, what did you mean? Are you able to reserve rides without genie+? I am going on Thursday this week.

Yes I was able to purchase individual lightning lanes for them both. No genie required

Guests can purchase ILL$ with a party ticket. Both of these attractions (Tron and SDMT) are ILL$ attractions.

Does anyone have any updates on a new popcorn bucket? Maybe Oct parties will get the best. Just realized there is a fourth Hocus Pocus show for Oct at 7:40 pm. We were planning on staying in the hub area for 10:15 fireworks (starting around 9:30-40) hocus pocus show and then ride some nearby rides before coming back to see the 11:45 pm parade. After that probably take some photopass shots on Main Street (wait for crowds to clear).

In 2019 getting back to our resort was the biggest challenge. Anyone used Minnie vans back?

I doubt there will be another popcorn bucket released. I'm really just hoping they restock the ones they have.

Last year, the Zero bucket came out in October but we already knew it was coming at this point.
