"Official" 2022 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party - Let's Boo this!

What time do they cut off the line for Halloween Mickey? I was thinking about trying for a picture after the 2nd parade ~11:30. Is that cutting it too close?

From previous info they cut the line when they think the line will take them to the end. Whether they want to shut it earlier or not might be down to luck of the day. One of the videos I watched there was a 20min wait for him during the 1st parade so if your not watching that one it might be an idea to catch it then.

First time attending MNSSHP! I'm lucky enough to have an AP, so if I enter the park before 4pm on my party day - then I can wait in line at Town Square Theater early to meet Jack and Sally and do they do the wristband distribution in that line (thats what I heard)?

I havn't heard of them giving wristbands in line but I havn't been since 2017 so the queue was different then, you had to pick up your wristband first to be able to queue.

That makes my choice for me. I was hoping they'd last until I got a better idea of crowd levels, but I just wasn't hearing much encouraging as to lower crowds than previous parties. I'm almost relieved the decision was done by default. lol

I havn't heard of them giving wristbands in line but I havn't been since 2017 so the queue was different then, you had to pick up your wristband first to be able to queue.

The first post also noted that this definitely happened in 2018 with wristband distribution in the Jack/Sally line. What I'm unsure of is if this is true for 2022.

Can anyone who has attended MNSSHP this year can confirm?

Can anyone answer some questions on the litho? When/where do you pick it up? One per person, I assume? How big is it? Just the paper litho, or is it in some sort of folder? Thanks!

9 x 12, coated paper in a plastic bag. No folder. They passed them out as you approached the exit, I think it was after you go through the tunnel and before the exit gates, there may have been some passing them out in a couple of places along there.

Ours was, they didn’t even open the slides until about 8:45pm last Saturday and we arrived at 6pm. I’m beginning to think it’s me, lol.

Nope. They told everyone that it technically wasn’t called off since they did go ahead with the party eventually. People were super upset (us included, as we were only able to do a total of two slides due to lineups in the remaining time).

This past Saturday? Yeah we were there too once it got started it was fun, but a bit frustrating to spend all that money and not get to do to much!

Ah, sorry, forgot about it being on the first post. I also didn't realise I posted it before I checked my reply, thats what I get for trying to answer via phone while in a store queue . I don't know that anyone has gone to meet Jack & Sally this year so far, hopefully someone can get back to you soon.

I felt the same way when my last possible party day got sold out. I would still like to experience it once, but from what I've seen and heard from the ones so far it seems to be a chaotic mess between the weather and other issues.

I'm not sure on that, but I do know you can use the value towards another party or you can transfer the ticket to someone else.

Thanks. I have to ask her to transfer it to me so I have some control, since she doesn't think she'll ever go to Disney again. However, I am definitely going to Disney again.

In the town square theater right at the beginning of Main St.

I haven't heard exactly when the line is starting this year, but I believe they're letting day guests who also have a party ticket start the line before the 4pm entrance for folks who only have a party ticket.

They start greeting at 4:30

It is extremely long (CMs telling people 3 hours but that's likely exaggerated) during the party. I think reports on the ground are closer to 2 hours.

If this is a priority for you, get in line as soon as you enter and you should be able to meet them before the official party start time.

I am very much interested in hearing when they allow the folks already inside the park to line up and whether they are doing wristband distribution in line this year! We’ll be in the park early on our party day and I want to do this m&g, but don’t want to put hours of valuable party time into it…

I saw on the Facebook group for the party that they aren’t doing wristband distribution in line and you need to have already gotten a wristband to join.
