I am hoping to be here for the DDD! Already have hotel booked, but waiting on registration. Really hoping I get a chance to register before it fills since I'm not going to be at the marathon expo and have no DVC/AP/Visa privileges. Fingers crossed!

I'm excited and hope to register for the Dumbo Double Dare. This would be my first runDisney event ever. I have done 2 10Ks, but never a half-marathon, so that would be a first as well.

When does registration open?

According to the WDW Marathon Program (page 49), it says registration opens for the DL Half Weekend races on January 28th, 2014.

I want to know when the Disney VISA early registration period opens up so I can register early and avoid the public registration rush.

Me too! I am trying for the Coast to Coast medal, so if I can't get in to at least the half (want to do DDD), then I am SOL!!

Going for my coast to coast this year Doing the Glass slipper challenge in Feb. and HOPEFULLY the DDD too. (if I get in before it sells out!) My bank account is taking a huge hit with these races. Unfortunately after this I think I will done with Disney Races, time to move on to something else. I am just glad to have the opportunity to have been able to do a few of the races. Here is to waiting oh so patiently for registration to open.

January 22nd is early AP registration... Just read it on another site. I guess both a WDW and DL AP will work.

Registering at Tink. First I pick up my shoes. And then I go straight for the registration booth.

I'm thinking the corrals are going to change with the new system. I'm praying the corrals are going to change with the new system. I really don't want to be stuck in the last corral because I can't quiet run 13:45 min/mile pace (I'm going to be hunting flat 10ks down as much as I can between Tink, the surgery, and Disney but who knows what will happen. If all goes well I should get a race in around 14:30 pace because of their cut off but that's still in the air). I just would like one more corral that's all. Hell we need another corral after last year's mess. Not just for timing just because there is so many people. I hope they are at least smart enough to go up to H this year, preferably I.

I know my time probably won't be a problem since I am going to be post op and a lot thinner by the time Dumbo rolls around. But I can't help but be nervous. And I would just like to not be stuck in the last corral right next to the sweepers.

EDIT: Never mind saw on the Facebook page that they aren't doing registration for Dumbo at WDW. Well that's a surprise. And probably not good news for me. I am still going to check if they are doing it at Tink. Otherwise I have to wait until the AP registration opens.
