Hey guys I have been keeping up with all the posts, love all of the information and encouragement. I have a question. Trying to decide which shoes to wear. I have a pair of asics that I love but the glue let go on a run
I can shoe goo them. I have been running with my shox but was told they are notorious for causing shin splints. I appreciate any advice, even if it means purchasing a different shoe. I was supposed to run the TOT last year but majorly tore my gastronemis muscle in Jan and it still had'nt fully healed when I went back to work in October. I got the ok to start training in May. That leg still gives me fits but I can usully get it worked out around mile 3.

I was running along and noticed they felt weird and realized the glue separated on both of them. They are in great shape I just am worried I will wear the wrong shoe. I think I will try again with the shox and see how it goes.
Is this a common thing to have happen?? I just noticed the other day that one shoe from my new pair of Asics makes a squeaking-type of sound... only one of them. I couldn't figure out why... now I'm paranoid that I'll be running along and it'll come apart!!

This is the time of year that feels most cruel over here on the Tampa Bay coast... you guys actually start feeling some relief at night, while the Gulf keeps us warm and humid for another month or more. It's always such a shock, how nice Orlando evenings and mornings feel in comparison! ~sigh~ "Upper 60's" has such a nice ring to it...
