Official 2011 MNSSHP Party Planning Thread ..BOO to You and You..Happy Halloween!

Bought my tickets this morning for the first party this morning!!! YAYAYAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are planning on going to the Sept 23rd party as well. Called yesterday and was told tickets weren't on sale yet, but was able to purchase them today!! So looking forward to hearing more tips and suggestions for the party as it draws near. Boo to You everyone!

This will be our first MNSSHP!! I'm actually thinking about doing 2 parties. I'm definitely doing one the day after we arrive and I was thinking about doing one towards the end of our trip.

Has anyone done this or is it a waste of money? Also, the second day would be the Friday of Columbus Day weekend. Will it be super crowded?

Just bought our tickets for 9/13!! I know it will still be really hot but this is the only time we can go. This will be mine and DF's first MNSSHP and couldn't be more excited. Can't wait to see more tips and updates on this thread.

I love MNSSHP!!!! It is my most favorite disney thing ever...and that is a big statement for me. After we went to our first party i had to go to another...then last year, we went to 3!! Is it a waste of money??? Only you can decide that. I know its insane for me to pay to go 3 times, but i just love it so much and it makes me so happy that i consider it worth it.

Well worth 2 parties. We do this all the time. And yes, Friday of Columbus Day weekend will be very busy, busier than other days that week. But it probably won't sell out.

Ugg I have been reading all day that the tickets are for sale, when I do to the disney sight I can't find them I know Disney wants my $$ so how come they won't show up.

So I guess I am asking where are they located on their webpage.

On the WDW home page, click on Tickets & Packages on the far right and scroll down to park tickets. Click on that and it will take you to the ticket purchase page. On the top left, under Browse Available Tickets, click on the little arrow and that will open up the box to show you Special Events. On the Special Events page you'll have to scroll down until you get to the MNSSHP tickets. Good luck!

So, since you do 2 parties, I'm guessing you get all the characters in and plenty of rides? I've just been reading so many awesome things about this party and I don't want to miss a thing!

I also figure that there's no better way to start and end our vacation!!

I'm hoping us old timers can keep up with my nieces. We'll be doing MNSSHP on Nov 1st and Discovery Cove on Nov 2nd. Should be an awesome couple of days!

DH may have to work so I need to keep things flexible for a few months and don't want to book something that isn't refundable. I have all our ADRs already and really want to do the Oct 18th party. How possible is it that it will be sold out before August when we have to make final payment (by then we'll know fo rsure what's happening)

I would think you'd be okay with those dates. I never buy my tix for MNSSHP until like the week before and we usually go the first week of October. Of course, can't guarantee that, but IMO you should be okay...

We'll be Dream'in from 10/23 - 27 and at the world 10/27 - 31 and looking forward to our first MNSSHP. Should we do the party on 10/27 or 31st? Which night would have lower crowds?
