Hey everyone! I'll be attending the party on the 27th and can't wait! Sorry if this has already be discussed but does anyone know if they're going the hearse pictures this year in the front of the Haunted Mansion? I thought they did those one year.. or was it a haunted carriage picture? Thanks so much for your help everyone! April

There was a haunted carriage in front of the Haunted Mansion

Yup! Already had the family photo taken this year. There is a ghost-horse (reigns but no horse) hearse carriage you stand in front of, parked in front of the HM. When you view your pic at the Disney photo pass website, there is a ghost driver super imposed into the picture. Pretty cool. If you also get your picture taken in Liberty Square, next to the pizza cart with the HM in the back ground, they super impose ghosts into that picture as well. They are offering a special $30 for 3 digital downloads. Not a bad deal I guess.

Speaking of arriving @ 4 with your costume on... Do we need a park ticket to get in at 4 or just the MNSSHP ticket? I've heard conflicting reports on this...

I FINALLY bought our MNSSHP tix a couple days ago. We will be there for the party on Friday, October 21. My son has a Pirate's League appt at 3:15 so he will of course be a pirate for the party. I am so excited to experience the party after all the RAVE reviews I have read here on the DIS!!!

My first post ever, for our first family trip and MNSSHP (Oct 11th w/ DW as Elastigirl, DD (8) as Violet, DS1 (4) as Dash, DS2 (2) as Jack-Jack, and can ya guess who I'll be?).

Does anyone know what the running times are for Boo-to-You, Hallowishes, and the Villain Mix and Mingle? Thanks!

Lots of info including parade times can be found here:

Your costumes sound great! I don't know how to quote from a different thread, but mickeyhunter has a great one titled 'Live from the first MNSSHP' and in post 139 said, "Fireworks are about 15 minutes, Parade is about 20 minutes, Mix and Mingle is about 17 minutes including the mingle part."

Hi everyone. I apologize if I have overlooked something. I was hoping someone could post a very consice list of photopass opportunities and their locations. I've seen this info in a few places but not consolidated. If you could please note if it is a magic shot that would be helpful. Also do they take the magic shots or any photopass shots prior to 7? Which ones? Finally where do the various villains meet for the meet and greet. Since my husband and I are Snow White and The Prince we HAVE to meet the Evil Queen. Also I know someone mentioned The Hag, does she have a set location and times? This would be so helpful. Thank you all so much!

Our experience at MNSSHP in 2009 was the shops closed immediately at 12 midnight. No one was allowed to go in the stores after 12. If you were already in the store, you could shop and make a purchase. Was the same for Mickey's Christmas Party in 2010. If you want party-themed merchandise (pins, shirts, etc.), I'd get it early because there was not much available at the end of the night.... I guess they only stock up so much for each party.

That was our experience too. When we were leaving all the shop doors were closed and they were trying to get everyone out of the park. No shopping after the party when we were there in 2009.

How was the line for this? Ridiculous or reasonable?

Has everyone started walking yet to get ready? I started a couple weeks ago on my step machine. By next month I hope to be well conditioned and ready to handle the 8+ miles a day!

I don't know why, but I never walk to prepare for Disney. Maybe because I walk so much and so quickly in my normal day-to-day life. It's never been an issue before, but I really should this year, though, because I'm not in the shape I used to be in. Thanks for the reminder!!! :thumbsup2

I used to walk a lot just in my day to day. I'm laid off now, so every morning I'm out walking at least 2 miles a day with the dog. And watching my diet a bit. Gotta make room for F&W! :rotfl:

I'll be ready for sure, we are family of walkers.

We did the haunted carriage pic on the 20th and waited about 20 minutes, but the line was entertaining with costumed guests coming and going through the haunted mansion. We took the hitch hiker photo about 11:45 and there was no line, in fact we almost missed the spot as we walked passed.

I haven't been able to find a touring plan for the party. Is there a good one out there?
