Official 2011 MNSSHP Party Planning Thread ..BOO to You and You..Happy Halloween!

Our tickets just arrived for MNSSHP 10/25 :cool1: I almost threw them in the trash thinking it was another credit card offer since the return mail address does not say disney. But then I noticed the Lake Buena Vista address and figured they must be the tickets. :goodvibes I thought the tickets would be Halloween themed but they aren't.

Got ours today for 9/13/11 :thumbsup2

When u do your first feed of the first night will you post a new thread??? Solo looking forward to it now. Picking up my tickets when I get there in October :banana::cool1::cool1:

i received my ticket today for the sept 30 party and my ticket had Donald on it!!

Got our tickets yesterday! This will be our first MNSSHP, and we are going on Halloween night! We are so excited! :jumping1:

We are also staying at our "home", BLT, so we will be able to watch Hallowishes from TOTWL on Friday 10/28!

We got ours yesterday, too.

Man that envelope, with 5 tickets, was heavy!

 We plan to order our tickets this weekend I just hope they still have some available! :scared1: Our trip is planned for Oct 1 - Oct 8 and we were going to try & book either the 2nd or the 6th. Unfortunately, we have not been able to order our tickets yet because honestly we just don't have the money. The area where I live (Alabama) was heavily hit with storm damage and we have been trying to help some of the storm victims in our area and "our play money" we had set aside needed to serve a greater purpose. So please keep your fingers crossed for us!

At 7pm, when the party officially starts, is there some sort of celebration to kickoff the party? If so, where's the best place to be for it? On Main Street?

DD really wants to see the 7 Dwarves and I know we'll have to get in line early for them, but I don't want to miss anything that kicks off the party. Will I need to sweet talk DH into standing in line with DD? ;)

There is no special 'kickoff' for the party. Everything special just begins at 7p. I would get in the dwarf line as soon as possible, maybe 6:30p if it's that important to you.

Nothing sells out till at least the end of August. You are safe. :)

This is my first trip to the party, so I had a quick question. I understand that lines for characters will be long, particularly the Dwarves and the villains. However, I was wondering that since the characters are coming out in force and there will be so many more than usual, does that mean that some of them won't have terribly long lines? I don't plan on getting a ton of character photos, but I would like to be able to get a couple if I don't have to wait in 30+ minute lines. Is such a thing possible?

Sorry to hear about the storm damage! Hope eveyone is doing well where you are/recovering ok.:wizard:

As for those dates, I would think you'd still be fine. It's still May after all! Good luck and hope you get the tix you want!:yay:

I just had to post my tickets, they so cute!

I'm so excited, I can't decide if My DH & I are dressing up or just have some T-shirts made?

Wonder why nothing relating to Halloween on those tickets.

There never is. That way they can use the ticket stock to print tickets until it's gone. They will use the same stock for Christmas party tickets too.

With the prices they charge for tickets, they certainly still should be party themed tickets but unfortunately, they stopped having party themed tickets after the 1995 parties. Just another way for Disney save money. :sad1:

That is sad. :sad2:And that ticket is so cute! I would have saved it, too.

This is going to be our first MNSSHP. I have only planned for 1 night at the party. My "kids" are teenagers & we will have other time in the park. I have been reading all of these wonderful posts & planning everything that we need to do. Do you think the one night will be enough? We are going in mid Oct, arriving on a Thursday & that is the day that we are going to the party. I know if that Friday isn't sold out, we can get tickets that day but they will be more.

If we are at MK with our park hopper pass in the afternoon on the day we are going to the party, do we have to go through the gates again with our Halloween party ticket sometime between the 4pm (where people said they start letting people in) and 7pm party start? We have dinner reservations a little after 4 in MK, so 4 is the absolute latest we would get there that day.

Good question! I hadn't thought about that, but wonder the answer as well!
