Having trouble deciding where/when to feed 6 & 7 year old kids. We could eat a huge late lunch out of the park and then try to grab fast food in the parks at some point. Or we could have table service dinner in the park at 5PM before the party starts, but it seems odd to take time out to eat when we've just arrived.
Is it unreasonable to think that we could easily get pizza or other to-go type food during the party or would the lines be long because everyone is thinking the same thing. We're going on 10/28, so I imagine it will be pretty busy.
how wrong is it for me to get in-line for the seven dwarfes at 6:00 then at 7:00 have the rest of the family join me in line (that would be 3 other people, DH, DD, DS)?
I actually think it's to spread out the timeframe when people come through the turnstiles. It would really bottle up the works to have 30K people (or however many it is!) show up all at once.

This will be our first MNSSHP! For those who have been there before, is one night enough to see & do everything? We will have time in the park too another day. My kids are teenagers now. Also, I have heard that there are only a few place to eat during the party. Which ones are open? I thought we might do a big lunch & a lighter dinner. Thanks
Our first party will be October 27th
We have other another park day to do rides and attractions. Is it reasonable to think we will be able to get pictures and autographs with the special characters completed in one party? We will probably skip the normal characters in their costumes unless we have time at the end, but we're hoping to snag photos with all the 'party only' characters.
Congrats on your first party! My advice is to get there early, as they will allow party guests into the park as early as 4pm. Don't try to spend the earlier part of your day doing too much, as you'll need all your energy for the night you go (trust me, I made this mistake.) The earlier you get there, the more time you have to do everything
One night will enable you to do a lot, but I wouldn't expect to get every single thing off your MK list while at MNSSHP. As long as you have at least one other additional day in the park you should be fine.
Not every single restaurant is open, but you'll still have plenty of choices. Which ones are and aren't have actually slipped my mind since I've only been once before, but I never remember it being an issue. Actually, a big lunch might be wise. Everyone will be full and ready to walk it off. Have fun!
Love that!I am thinking of dressing the boys as Phineas and Ferb (both wear shorts, so that should work well) and have DH wear a Perry shirt...![]()
We're only doing one night but it does sound like a great way to end our vaca, sept 30th. Then again a Tuesday (27th) might be less crowded... I am going to have to wait to buy tickets until I can make my mind upI also figure that there's no better way to start and end our vacation!!
Ditto. If you were alone and took 2 pics or with 23 people and took 2 pics, no difference to me how many people stand near me in lineOthers might feel differently, but I personally wouldn't care.
