Official 2011 MNSSHP Party Planning Thread ..BOO to You and You..Happy Halloween!

Wish they would hurry up and put out the "official" dates and start selling tickets. Thought we would have heard something by now.:surfweb:

If I wasn't at work I would do more to research this, but, incase it rains, what parts of the party get canceled?

TIA and sorry if this has been asked numerous times already. :goodvibes:thumbsup2

I know the Headless Horseman doesn't ride for safety reasons. I think that's all. They could cancel the whole parade if the rain was really bad, but most things go on.

I'm glad I'm not the only one getting tired of waiting. I'm not going until 10/27 and my dining doesn't open until this weekend but I feel sorry for those trying to coordinate dining and MNSSHP based on the "possible" dates. I plan on booking my dinner for that night tomorrow but I think I'm safe with this date. You'd think they would at least release the defininte dates so the first party date coordinates with peoples 180day ADR date. They still don't have to sell tickets until May or whenever but at least get the dates to the people!

We are hoping the first party is on the 13th. I had to make ADRS back on March 7th so I planned around that date.

While they haven't released dates, they HAVE released park hours for a bunch of that time period (through Oct 28th, currently). You can pretty much tell what dates they're considering party dates by the dates MK is closing at 7. Granted, they could change...but I dont' think they have, traditionally.

For example...on 10/27, MK closes at 7. Safe to bet that's a party night. On the 28th (a FRIDAY), it also closes at 7. I'd be willing to bet that will be a party night, too.

For the last few days (29, 30,31, and possibly 11/1)...you know there will be a party on the 31st, at least.

I saw someone else post that this is how they figured it out, I was like how could I NOT think of that! GENIUS!!! Makes total sense, and yeah it's pretty accurate since at the start of the MNSSHP dates, they usually only run on Tues and Thurs... I feel "sorta" dumb having never thought to look it up this way!!! But I'm so excited to feel like I can plan now!! Thanks you guys!! :cool1:

Here is what I looked up based on the calendar.

Sept:12,16,20,23,27,30 Oct:2,6,7,10,11,13,16,18,20,21,23,25,27,28,30,31

I called today to book the Pirate's League for our party and the girl said they still haven't heard and thought they would by now and it might be mid to late May. But you know you can't always believe what CMs say and it can vary from one to the other.

All smiles at our house, DH got vacation confirmed my supervisor so he said start looking for airfare. It looks like we will be there Oct 18 (late) or Oct 19 (my hope I hate taking redeyes) until either the 25/26. Oh how fickle is that. But it doesn't matter we will be there. My plan is for the Party of the 20 of Oct. Can't wait. Better start some major planning. :surfweb: this will be me this weekend into next week.

If you call 407-W-DISNEY and ask for tickets they will give you the dates for the party as well as prices.

I called the Dining Line, and asked for tickets, but they could not confirm if November 1st was available or not for MNSSHP.

But the nice cast member did check the published hours he could see for November 1st at the Magic Kingdom, and it does appear to be closed at 7 PM, which doesn't guarantee a Halloween Party on that date, but it increases the odds a little, since they probably would keep the park open to 8 or 9 for fireworks otherwise at the earliest.

So for now I am going to assume that Tuesday November 1st is available for the Halloween Party and adjust my Dining reservation "hopes" to be earlier than the MNSSHP party, and outside of the parks that day.

Next thing to do: Dining Reservations on Tuesday at 6 AM online.

Does anyone else wonder why the MVMCP tickets are available for purchase and not those for MNSSHP????

Did this happen last year>>>:confused3:confused3:confused3

"Day of Event (if still available) for October 28 and 31: $72.37 / $67.05"

They don't offer discounts for Halloween night tix, and to my understanding they sell out for that night rather quickly. I don't think you will be able to get them that late.

Tickets on sale now! WooHoo! Just booked ours for the 9/20/2011 party!:woohoo:
