Offer Accepted at BLT!

Ok we put in our offer and got news it was accepted.

We got 160 points at BLT for $104pp

Seller pays half closing costs, and 3/4 of 2016 maint fees.

All 2016 points banked, so we get all the points with only 25% of the maint fees.

Seems like a pretty good deal to me, what do you all think?

Also how about the ROFR? Think this will pass through?

The agent I was speaking with mentioned some people are accepting lower offers after Disney stripping away more benefits. Not sure how true it is, but it sounds reasonable. Fingers crossed Disney doesn't bounce this, but doesn't look like they have rejected much lately.

Just a year ago, BLT was selling for $95-$100 per point. It seems the recent bubble (with asking prices of $130 per point) has burst when you can get a loaded contract for $104 a point. FWIW, I noticed listings today at $110 per point, some with points, some completely stripped, so I don't think this sale is a fluke.

I agree! The broker mentioned noticing a bit of a trend down. I guess we will see, I just hope Disney approves it.

Id be curious to see if it's only because of the second half of the year is coming or if it's because we are headed towards a downward trend.

From what I read elsewhere last year at this time there was also a decline in price per point.
