Off topic (still) - donations - worthwhile thought

Omahanas have been giving, and giving, and giving to the Red Cross, Savation Army.

I was speaking to one of our dog trainers last night who brought up a very good point.
When any disaster strikes, she donates her money and resources to whatever local Humane Society and pet rescue organizations are effected. She says shelters are always overrun in disaster times.
There probably will be/are many abandoned, neglected pets. Many are probably still be waiting for their owner's return.

I think there will soon be a big problem for the pets. Saw on tv yesterday people begging to be let in the area long enough pick up their pets. One man used his credentials to go pick up a friends pet.
