we are going on a celebrity cruise to Bermuda in Aug. our daughter will be 12.5 and our son 8.5. On DCL the 12.5 yo had the run of the ship, but we were able to communicate with her via the app on her phone and ours. Wondering if anyone has any insight on this topic on Celebrity.

My family got the free internet packages on Celebrity and used WhatsApp to communicate on the ship. If you have iPhones, you can you iMessage.

I like the PP's idea but wanted to ask you to please come back her after the cruise and share your thoughts about X cruises. What ship are you going to be on?

The Summit. We live in NE, so a cruise out of New Jersey is a no brainer. We are teachers so all the DCL cruises out of NY are out as they are in the fall. The small size of the ship is appealing as is the destination,

The what's app is a good idea. The adults have unlimited internet, but the kids do not. Hmmmm...
