We are off to the airport tonight staying at the Radisson ready for our 10.30 flight tommorow!!!

we are also flying out with Virgin on the 12.30 flight, how about you?. Kicking off the holiday with a night at the Ramada Plaza in Gatwick and taking advantage of twilight check in - starting to get cabin fever now. Will pack on Saturday and have a lazy Easter Sunday (but coooking a fairly big meal). Then its off on Monday lunchtime for the drive to Gatwick and hopefully straight to check in before we check in at our hotel.

IceQueen we too are on the 12.30 flight, we're stopping the night before at the Gatwick Hilton, it's great to start your holiday the night before at a hotlel, makes your holiday a bit longer.

I'm really envious - we are not going until August so four more months to wait.

Could I just ask a question? What time does the Virgin twilight check in start as we now plan to stay overnight the night before?

I believe check-in is between 3.30pm and 9.00pm. I've never done it before, but it will be a relief to get rid of the suitcases, pick up our boarding cards and not have to arrive on the morning of departure 3 - 4 hours beforehand.

Sorry IceQueen, we don't fly out til Wednesday (I think I'm in need of a holiday!), but our holiday starts on Tuesday when we stop over at Gatwick.
