Hey Everyone.

I'm back! UEA was fun! The best part was that I got to go on tour WITH my parents this time.
Before I continue, I'd like to point out I have made my decisions before I went to visit these places. I was not paying attention to what I was putting onto my UCAS form so I am stuck with Essex as my firm and UEA as my insurance. It's not that there is anything wrong with them, but I could of looked at something before I said yes!!!
We took the train there. It was about 2ish hours, and we had to go off on 2 trains to get there. One of the stops was "Diss". Weiiiiiiiiiird... It's like you guys are stalking me!!
We got a bus into the university. it was nice since we got to see the sites and it was free.

Norwich is a very nice city btw.

The only thing I am disappointed is that I need to get a bus to get anywhere, where as with Essex there is a Tesco down the road. BUT once you do get somewhere in Norwich there is a LOT to do there. We saw this HUGE Woolworths we thought was a warehouse..
We got there and we were given a tour of the accomodation. It's nice, but very Concrete like. In fact, you can see two really big indrustrial tower thingys (don't know the precise wording sorry!) where the boilers were spewing their waste into the atmosphere.

The thing with the accomodation is that you have to go up some stairs, across a corrider and then go down into the accomodation. It looks like the inside of a mole hill!!!

But it was very big in the room; ok, not much closet space, and these were the ones you share showers in, but it was very nice. The only thing that did put us off was a sign that someone put up saying "If you moult in the shower please clean up your hair". LOL!!!
We went back, and we supposed to have lunch but there were delays, so people we talking and we had some drinks. In my timidy way I wasn't outgoing and talking to people, but people came over to us and talked. One of which was one of the lecturers there, to which I had no idea at the time!!!!

We was a Danish person and we was quite nice. After all, he must of been to go and be able to go and talk to me!
After that, we went into another room, where the shock of the fact that he was the lecturar sank in.. He gave the talk about the course and the university!!!!

It was a bit dragged out, but I managed to stay away, despite a hungry belly.
After that, lunch! I had a plate of chips, which were a bit urgh, but enough to keep me going for awhile.

Soon after, we got a tour of the campus; the whole package. It was cool, although showing me the sports area is going to be totally useles for me. Sinc when am I am muscled jock!!!!
With that, the open day ended. It was rather quick, but that's how I like these things..
