A bit of background....I grew up minutes from Disneyland and have spent many days and nights there. It has been in the last 2 years that I have migrated toward WDW (I no longer live in southern California and wanted to see what all the WDW hype was about. ). In March 2007 we took the kids to WDW for the first time. We stayed off site but spent all but 1 of our 7 days at the parks. We took the illuminations cruise one evening as well. By the end of the trip, we had fallen in love with WDW but were exhausted. We returned to Orlando again in October 2008. again we stayed off site and did only a single day at WDW( we were saving $).

So, on to the present. Following our most recent trip, we planned our upcoming June 2008 to Orlando. We had no intention of staying at WDW since we had previously purchased annual passes to Sea World. Our 2 week trip was to be split between two different time shares. That was up until a week or so ago. My husband who thinks I spend all together too much time planning vacations, had the bright idea to send me a Costco link to something Disney related. Somehow, I ended up back on the DIS boards and read about the latest 4/3 offer. After a brief discussion ( I always win the vacation discussion), one of our 2 timeshare weeks had been canceled and replaced with a week at the Beach Club, complete with a dining plan and park hopper.

The plan is to keep the change a secret from our four kiddos until we go to check into the Beach Club for our second week in Orlando. This will be no easy feat as I am spending a ton of time on these boards looking at pictures, reading reviews, etc. I have to fugure out where we will dine, what type of bag/purse I need, when to order the new Disney crocs for the crew.

So far I've made a reservation for CRT for lunch on 6/12. Once the park hours come out and we hit our 90 day booking window, I will work on the other ADR's. I'm considering the CP since the kids enjoyed that on our first trip. I've also been told the WCC is enjoyable. I'd like to try Le Cellier but I'm not sure on that one with the kids. Any input on this? Any other not to miss locations?

We do plan to go to the parks each day but will take advantage of staying on property by coming back mid-day for pool time/nap time. DHS will be one day or partial day for us. We didn't find it as much fun as the other 3 parks. With our proximity to Epcot, I suspect we'll do a bit of evening wandering there.

I guess that's enough rambling for tonight. Dinner calls.
