As far as the AoA/CSR question, I'd definitely go for AoA! All the photos I've seen thus far are super cool, and I think your kids would love it!

CONGRATULATIONS on the 17 pounds lost! That's fantastic, girl! So proud of you!

I know what you mean with the little kid's clothes. I've noticed the trend for little girl's shorts getting shorter and shorter and shorter. I especially can't handle the ones with the writing across the bootie.

Love all the photos of DL! Can I ask why you've never been on the teacups?

I'm leaning towards AoA too. We're staying at POR Royal Room for Reya and the LM for her as well... So I think it's only fair we stay somewhere that Jayden would like, so I think we might do the CARS suite. He's obessed.

Reya received a bikini for her birthday.... It's actually pretty cute, but I still feel weird about her wearing it. I hope people don't judge me for letting my 6 year old wearing a bikini. I wanted to buy her a new bathing suit before the trip, but of course you can't find any out here in Colorado right now.

37 days until VACATION!!!


Before I know it, we’ll be leaving. Time is really flying by now. It actually doesn’t feel real, and hard to believe I’ll be able to leave everything behind in 5 weeks. We need this vacation SOOOO bad.

Of course I’ve already started packing odds and ends. So when I found this online the other day, I had to laugh. It’s me and my husband 100%

I also bought Reya a cute dress for our trip. She loves it.

I'm trying to get a bunch of planning done today. Jayden is refusing to take a nap right now, so things are slow. Until then I thought I would post some more pictures for your viewing pleasure.

35 DAYS!!!!!!​

I technically could have started using my countdown calendar 5 days ago, but I have to wait another week, so I can fool Reya! So excited!!


I thought I would share some Downtown Disney Pictures with you from our 2010 Trip.

Jaydens 1st Mickey Ears..... Actually, we didn't buy it, but HOW cute! I miss him being so small.

Awwww... Jayden's little head... too cute... the mouse ears are so big... (I love baby's heads ... in a sweet way... it sounds weird when you say it... but the top of their heads, that little bit of hair... maybe it's an instinctive maternal thing???

I think little girls can be really sweet in bikinis - Ems wore some... I think its the style of the suit -a one piece can look more "mature" than a bikini depending on its style... you'll find cute appropriate stuff for Reya... You're just going to have to look harder now... little girls only have a short time to be little girls and they have the rest of their lives to be women... I think they should be able to enjoy and embrace their girlhood... it'll be fine cause your looking out for her...

btw big CONGRATS on the wait loss ... 17 lbs is a huge accomplishment... Are you doing your own thing or following a program...?

(I'm older than you and I have some weight loss to attend to...... I don't mind getting older and I don't need to be the mom that fits into their 17 year olds clothes but I do want to get older healthy and in shape... I think women can be beautiful at all ages... it just takes a little more work and attention when you aren't 17 any more... )

But that is awesome- 17 lbs... so GOOD for you...

I totally know what you mean about babies heads. lol. I miss EVERYTHING about him being a baby. The way he smells, the way he would hold my finger with his fist, the cute little noises he would make. I especially loved how he would stay where I put him. My BFF and I had breakfast this morning and were talking about having kids. My husband and I really are on the fence about having another baby. A big part of me wants another one so bad, but the expense of having another child is overwhelming. We're going to have to make a decision REAL soon though. I said I didn't want to have anymore kids after 35, and I turn that next summer. tick tock, tick tock!

I'm taking advantage of Reyas innocence as long as I can. I only give it a couple years and she's going to be over the whole princess, flowery dresses, and hair bows. Brings a tear to my eye when I think about how much she's changed in the last few years. If you notice the downtown disney pictures with my DD and my nieces.... They're all into the "vampire" phase and Taylor Lautner and josh Hutchenson (sp) guys. It seemed like it happened overnight with them. It was all about tinkerbell one day and boys and vampires the next. I'm trying to hold onto Reya for as long as possible.

Thanks for the congrats.... I hate to admit, but I gained a couple pounds back. It amazing how slow it comes off and how fast it comes back.

I almost dont feel ready for my trip. It's hard to explain. I'm excited, just doesnt feel real yet. I am ready to relax that's for sure!!! I need a vacation bad.

Haven’t decided if we’re going to see Nemo yet. Not sure if Jayden will be able to sit through it.?!

I am SUPER excited!!!!!! According to Reya's countdown Calendar we leave in 29 days. ((I'm so happy that's NOT true)) She's going to be so shocked when we leave 2 weeks earlier then she thought.... She's more excited about Halloween right now though... Every morning at breakfast she tells me how many days until Halloween with a big smile on her face. She's going as bat girl and Jayden is going as batman. I can't wait to take pictures.

They look REALLY cute, especially Jayden... His coustume makes him look like he's buff with a 6pack. Love it.

I won't lie though... I was trying to convince them to be pirates so we could kill two birds with one stone.. Costumes for Halloween and then costumes for the Pirate party on the ship. Oh well.
