Well I'm off to complete my first pin pursuit. Hoping to get all the pins and still have time to visit AK today, we'll see... :thumbsup2

What exactly is a pin pursuit?

Well we started at 10:30 from DTD:
Pin #1 at 11:05am from the Boardwalk - DCL Bus/Chip and Dale
Pin #2 at 11:41am from MGM - Goofy and Backlot Tram
Pin #3 at 12:16pm from AK - Safari Minnie
We then made a stop at the Contemporary for my Minnie Surprise Pin and then...
Pin #4 at 1:02pm from Boardwalk - Donald/Ferry
Pin #5 at 1:49pm (Mickey's Gift Shop at the TTC was SOLD OUT, so we had to go into the park and up to the Jewlers for this pin, so it took extra time) Mickey/Train
When we got to TTC and found out Mickey was sold out there we sent DFiance' to EPCOT to get the Tink Monorail pin... he got there at 1:46pm
Pin # 6 1:46pm
Then we took the Monorail back to EPCOT and met up with him after he scored two Tinks and got our maps stamped... we caught the bus to DTD.
Got there at 3:16pm to buy the Stitch/Bus and picked up our four free Arch pins... Yahoo! We did it!

So started at 11:04am and ended 3:16pm. 4 hours and 12 minutes total. Here is a hint, valet at Grand Floridian and you can hit three on the monorail real easy.

We took pics at each stop with the exception of MK because we were in such a rush we forgot... :guilty: Will post the pics when I get a chance... heading to bed now... ouch my feet hurt lol!

Reads like you were a very busy group. Glad to hear you had a good time. I need to do a pin pursuit...

I was hoping they would have some of those left when I get there next month, but if you say they are all sold out of some pins already I guess I might be out of luck.
I am a bit upset that they are giving the Entrance Arch pin as the free gift pin. I bought quite a few of those when it was released as a surprise pin. I would think they could come up with another design than something that was already released. I don't need another arch pin. Peggie

You go to the places listed on the map and you get a stamp, after visiting all the locations you may receive a completer pin... you do not have to buy all the pins but we wanted the collection.

I don't know that a style of pin is sold out. :confused3 At the TTC the pin being sold there was sold out. Which just means guests have to enter the park to buy the pin.
Yesterday there were still cards at the TTC and they would stamp them. So if a person did not want to buy the MK location pin, they did not have to go into the MK.

I asked at DTD yesterday if they had been busy that day with pin pursuit guests.
I was told not really. That most had done it Friday. Friday they were busy.

I agree with the completer design too.
This rehashed design makes me wonder if this will get used again when the new entrance behind AK is opened. :scratchin

Really as far as pin designs go, these are not my favorites. I think the best is Chip n Dale Cruise Line. As over done as STitch is, that pin is cute too.

Thanks, I had no idea what it was. :goodvibes
