My kids started school today - where did the summer go?!!!

One is a junior, the other is starting 8th grade. Seems like yesterday I was walking them into kindergarten.

They start the 29th. 3rd and 4th grade.

This is the 1st year we've ever started on a Monday. We have always started on the Wednesday before labor day....

my two start 4th grade on Sept 6 . We had a short summer, because of snow days they did not get out until the end of June.

I cry every year, so I already know what I will be doing on Sept. 6. They just grow up too fast.

Mine start tomorrow. DD will be in 4th and DS starts Kindergarden!!! He went to preschool there last year, so he thinks he is Mr. Big Guy! I think that will make it easier for all of us since he knows the school and all. I know I feel a lot better about it!

Mine started two weeks ago today -- We were just remarking that we couldn't believe two weeks have gone by already.
They are in 8th, 7th, 6th and 4th grade

My DS starts school September 6th and will be entering the 5th grade. I am amazed at how many children have already started back to school this year as he still has 2 more weeks of summer vacation!

Mine start August 25 (a Thursday - isn't that stupid?). DD11 will be in 7th grade and DD8 will be in 3rd. Due to a new law here in NC, they are starting school 3 weeks later this year and have been out since May 20. So it has been a LONG summer!

I know the feeling. My DD9 had a birthday party Saturday, which she used as an occasion to announce that she had outgrown the princesses.

I can't believe she is old enough to go - and I'm having MAJOR issues with it. She's excited and I'm thankful for that... but I'm stuck somewhere between crying and throwing up.
