Off site room block

Curious if anyone has set up a room block off-site. We’re thinking about making a room block at one of the Disney Springs area hotels like holiday inn or Hilton. Has anyone done this and how did it work?

I'm assuming it will be like a room block at any other hotel. You just let them know how many rooms you think you need for which nights. Usually, you are committing to getting a certain percentage of those rooms booked or else they charge you.

Depending on how many will need rooms, you may also want to consider renting a home in Kissimmee. There are some that are rather large that hold quite a few people.
