Off-site Reservations and Park Hours?

We are traveling to WDW March 20-27, 2010 and I will make the ADRs on 10/27. We are not staying on-site. Since neither the 90-day nor the 90+10 day window will have opened yet for our travel dates, it appears that I will have the same opportunity to make ressies as those staying on-site for these dates. Is this true and how others understand what will happen when they switch to 180 days on October 27th?

In short - those booking ressies between Feb 3, 2010 (Oct 26 +100days) and April 25, 2010 (Oct 27 + 180days) will all be able to book starting on the 27th whether they are on-site or off-site. Correct? It's like a one-time only benefit/glitch depending on how you look at it. I just fear system overload that morning!

Also, when are the parks publishing park schedules for 180 days out? Before Oct 27th? After? or are they sticking with 90days on those - which makes no sense as it helps with making reservations to know this info but I have not heard definitively yet. Thanks!

Yes you are correct that you will be on an equal footing with resort guests for booking your ADRs. Now if you can only get through on the phone or online.

As for schedules, the story was that they would go back to 180 days as well but when that will happen is anyone's guess. Disney is notoriously bad for publishing schedules.

Even at 90 days out we had to make most of our ADRs for September blindly with no schedule.
