Off site recommendations

My DD and I are going to extend our vacation in May but will have to stay off site. We are looking for a hotel $100 or less that is near WDW and nice. A pool would be nice also. I saw several "deals" on the Radisson hotels by LBV and one I think near Celebration or Kissimmee. Has anyone stayed at these? Are they nice and how far from WDW? Anyone have any other suggestions? We don't need much it's really just a place to sleep and maybe a day at the pool.

If you're not too concerned about where you stay why not roll the dice and try priceline? *geez I sound like a commercial* I love surprises, so I bid all the time when we go to Orlando. Of course, I only bid on a 3 * and above. Make sure that you read www.biddingfortravel.com before you bid though.

The Sheraton Safari Hotel is somewhere I've stayed a couple of times and would fit your bill well (especially for the pool). It is close to the Downtown Disney area (just past Crossroads on Apopka-Vineland Road) and is currently great value as it is on special offer on our sister site Dreams Unlimited Travel.

I've stayed at the Radisson Palm Parkway and really like the hotel. It's clean, well-run, and very close to the Cross-Roads shopping center. Rooms are a bit oversized and have balconies. I've always had friendly, excellent service at this hotel.

I bid on my first Priceline room and got the La Quinta Airport West for $31. That probably isn't a great price, but our flight gets in late and we may go to the gulf shore for the first par of our vaca. also we are not getting a car that night and this hotel has a free shuttle. anyone stay at t his property? I recieved an e-mail from PL about a ten dollar a night bonus, but it wasn't applied to my bid. Is it just for 3 star and above that it applies? Doest it mean that if I bid $40 on a 3 star that they would up my bid to $50? A new bidder.

I haven't stayed there myself, but I have read lots of good reviews on HOtel Royal Plaza. I looked into it for our trip in June and the price was $79. There is a pool. It is one of the Downtown Disney Hotels. Kids eat free.
